S3 of good omens isn't what it could've been, and you can tell it's supposed to be a bigger story. However,
-and here be many spoilers ahead-
we got so many cool bits!
Long haired general aziraphale?! Oh baby that's juicyyyy no wonder he's so against destruction and war
Crowley not recognising him and aziraphale pretending not to?! Idk?! We always thought that that shock came for aziraphale in the garden of eden, but no. Thar makes that scene hit even harder now.
Ichor blood confirmedddddd
Aziraphale and the whole "getting the Bentley back" sequence like... Who is she?! Confident, cheeky, pulling a trickster-god- rigged-deal with a human? Centuries of doing the "wrong thing" but disguising it as the "heavenly thing" culminated here. Crowley must be so proud
Multiple silver fox crowleys 🤌🤌🤌🤌
The never ending pizza jesus gave the people
Lilac-eyed archangel aziraphale 🙏
The ending: Crowley seemingly got what he wanted, just the two of them, the bookstore, finally peace and quiet. And the realisation that it's utterly meaningless without humanity. Crowley getting god to listen to his question. Getting his wish, to get rid of the rigged, toxic system. To let his beautiful stars and nebulas unfold, governed only by the laws of the universe.
Aziraphale and Crowley finally succeeding in what they've always strived towards: protecting humanity. Their beloved earth
The "I'll find you in any lifetime" tropeeeeeeeee oh my goddddd. 💯💯💯💯 I know the fandom feared a human ending and while I get the grief, I'm like ... They got to be together, unburdened by the Sides. And it was an echo of how they met at the Beginning: someone deeply in love with the stars and someone very much charmed by that. Pulled into orbit. Oh, my heart
Seeing old queer men be so gd married and in love 🤌🤌🤌
24h later (GO3 FEELINGS SO *SPOILERS*)
Let me preface this by saying I liked the ending. And I was a HUGE believer that the human ending will not or cannot happen but as I saw it unfold in front of me I have to say it makes sense. I was genuinely not sad about it, the saddest thing about this is that Good omens is over now for good and the reactions fans have had.
First and foremost, do I think the decision was in character? Yes I do. Aziraphale and Crowley have always tried to save the world, they never wanted it to end. In s1 they tried to raise Warlock with influences from both sides so he wouldn't end up wanting to end the world. Even if they had the wrong kid, they still tried. And Adam grew up with humans as a human child even if he wasn't and he went against his father BECAUSE humanity was important to him. He didn't care about ruling the world like Satan. He wanted to be with his friends. For Azi and Crowley, the most important thing has always been that the humans are okay.
In s2, Aziraphale used his bookshop to protect humans from Hell and Heaven. The stakes in that season were much lower now but you can see in everything they do they care about the humans there. Crowley really wanted Nina and Maggie to be together. He was delighted when he thought he succeeded! But just like how Nina and Maggie said to him, they don't TALK. They've never ever been able to stop and discuss their feelings on a deeper level because they were afraid of Heaven and Hell.
In s3 they chose humanity over establishing the world as it was because they know the world they knew was bad. They knew with Heaven and Hell there would still be suffering. They nor anyone else could be free because these systems would forever be there in the way.
Aziraphale has always done what he thought Heaven wanted of him. He was scared. Heaven abused him! None of the angels except Muriel liked him nor trusted him, they installed doubt and fear into him. Aziraphale suffered from religious trauma his entire existence, blindly following a plan he knew nothing of. Azi believed he could fix a system that was rigged from the beginning. He could've never fixed it the way he wished.
Crowley was bitter and angry. He was punished for his curiosity. In the beginning of s2 he can be seen as innocent, trustful of God and the plan. He loves his work aka the stars. That's his first love! When Azi tells him God will destroy it all in 6000 years, Crowley doesn't understand it at all. He believes there should be freedom of choice, freedom to question, freedom to build your own path. But the system he was "born into" forces him to suffer. He didn't get an explanation to his questions and he felt he didn't belong anywhere. He didn't have friends other than Aziraphale. When he wanted Azi and him to run away, it was in a way selfish because he wanted to get away from the systems however it wouldn't have fixed anything. They would've left others to suffer the same faith they would've ignored.
So in that sense Gabriel and Beelzebub chose to be selfish as they were some of the people upholding the system. Even as Gabriel got his memories back, he ignored making the world a better place for others but chose to be with Beelzebub. I don't believe it's completely selfish because even as upholders of a bad system, they were also victims of it.
But Azi and Crowley knew this. Aziraphale realized how much Heaven and Hell had hurt them. And I have seen the claim that the ending makes s1 and s2 mean nothing-that's not true in the slightest. If those events hadn't happened, they wouldn't be able to make a decision. But because they had the memories of the events, they knew what they should choose that would get rid of the harmful systems so they wouldn't hurt anyone anymore. Michael was also a victim, she went crazy because she felt she was stressed. Now I think if we had a full season it could've been done better but even then, she ultimately suffered from the system she spent her existence serving.
The human universe is a world where they don't have to spend their lives being pushed into boxes, being punished for asking questions. Of course this world has its own problems but when we compare it to the scrutiny they faced as an angel and demon it's nothing. We can see they're both happy in their lives and they both get to do what they wanted to do.
I have seen the argument human Crowley was ooc. But that's not really true either. Human Crowley is what angel Crowley would've been if he wasn't punished. He's the curious and open-minded, optimistic person Crowley really is. Demon Crowley is traumatized.
Human Aziraphale isn't pushed down by a religious system. He doesn't serve people because he's afraid of punishment. He works at a bookshop and he's happy.
And do I think if Anthony and Asa are Ineffable husbands? Yes I do! No, they aren't the original ones but the original ones lived in a world where they couldn't be together. And yet, they still happened to exist in the same place at the same time and meet each other. Aziraphale and Crowley have a red string between them with which they find each other wherever they go because they are soulmates. Their souls are bound together by faith. It doesn't care about the universe. It doesn't care about systems. They were made for each other and no matter what, they will be there together.
While it's definitely sad the og ones couldn't have what they always wanted, they were still very much in love. I see them as ace because I'm ace and I think their love doesn't have to be shown through physical gestures as sex or kissing. And that's what has always been beautiful to me about Good omens; they feel like two asexual beings who fall in love and their love is INEFFABLE. Everything they ever did was to protect the other, to care and love. They were and will forever be lovers. Every single version of them, in every single timeline. They got the ending they wanted and that's what matters.
yeah i fucking bet
Adventure Time: Side Quests Theme Song!
Sasha Knight and John DiMaggio on vocals. Side Quests premiers on Disney+ and Hulu on 29 June 2026.
(This is not the title sequence, just the theme song with the poster.)
Jesus should have appeared when Aziraphale summoned God with the New Book of Life.
He's God, isn't he? Part of the "triune godhead." Then we could have gotten a completely different version of the scene in the bookshop, one where Jesus defends the world he knows and the people he's met and the things he learned (in his short time back on Earth) about love and generosity and helping people become better people.
Maybe Aziraphale and Crowley ask him to create a world without angels and demons. Maybe he says, but aren't they people too? Can't they learn about love, and generosity, and helping people become better people? Of course they can. Look at the two of you.
And we could have gotten a beautiful mirror to the end of Season 1, where Christ does the same exact thing as the Antichrist, where he doesn't destroy the world but puts it back just the way it was. Even slightly better.
Because angels and demons should have a chance, too.
THIS IS SO THEM
OMG!!!! I love Good Omens so much and I love the Last Dinner Party!! I wish I had thought of this. I love it so much!!!!
""" i can't believe crowley chose the universe over aziraphale""" you can't believe that the SERPENT OF EDEN chose to give humanity free will??? AGAIN???

Adventure Time: Side Quests streaming 6/29 on Hulu | 10/5 CN Global ✨
ADVENTURE TIME: SIDE QUESTS RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED!!!
29 JUNE 2026
The series will be streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, not on HBO Max.
As suspected, Finn will have a new VA, a young actor named Sasha Knight best know for his starring role in the 2020 film Cowboys. Jeremy Shada is a bit old to be voicing a child version of Finn so the recast was expected. The rest of the main cast is returning, including John DiMaggio (Jake), Tom Kenny (Ice King), Hynden Walch (Princess Bubblegum), Olivia Olson (Marceline), and Niki Yang (BMO).
Nate Cash is showrunning as we already knew. He was a creative and supervising director on seasons three through five of the original show before leaving to work on Over the Garden Wall. Victor Courtright and Niki Yang will be directing. Nick Cross is art director, reprising his own role from Over the Garden Wall. Darrick Bachman is story editor and Matthew Janszen is composing the music. We don't know the whole storyboard team yet, but Jesse Moynihan, Megan Fisher, and Nick Edwards are a few of the confirmed artists.
Like with most Adventure Time promo art, the art style in the poster probably doesn't reflect the art style of the show. I'm not sure who drew the poster but we should find out soon.
This has caught me super off-guard because I didn't think we'd be getting a trailer until autumn, let alone a premier! More information to follow!
Sounds like Disney have only acquired the rights in the United States. In the rest of the world, the series will air on television and stream on HBO Max, but not until 5 October 2026.
Jesus was the best part of s3 I think
As an aroace girly, I think people are placing too much importance on a kiss. It’s not needed when their relationship and bond does all the talking.
