jacob had a late start this morning with walking cooper. they were normally up at around 4:30 in the morning when it wasnât so hot and they would have about an hour to go back to bed before daily tasks; he just couldnât be bothered to do it today. with cooper scratching against the door to go out for his walk jacob couldnât ignore it anymore. he had grabbed the leash but more often than not cooper was an obedient dog and never strayed far. he thinks that its still the police dog in him to have such a strong obedience but jacob would like to think that he actually liked him and his company. it was going well until cooper shit and jacob had forgotten to grab the little baggyâs to clean it up. âfuck me,â he said under his breath, âwhat are we gonna do, pal?â he said patting the dog on the head, tempted to just walk away but knowing that it would be shitty to do so.
Benjamin honestly had a love-hate relationship with jogging. He enjoyed the peace and time to clean his head that the daily act provided, but surely HATED the exercising by itself. He stopped, took a deep breath and was about to resume the torture jogging when he spotted a familiar figure not so far away. Jacob, of course. Raising his eyebrow in curiosity, Benjamin approached with the excuse of greeting his friend, though his initial intention was to see what was going on. As soon as he noticed the scene playing before him, Benjaminâs first thought was to turn around â but he was quite amused by the situation and wanted to know what Jacob was going to do. âWell, for starters, you could clean it. Be a good citizen and all that.â
heâs been working on his show script for over two hours now, thereâs usually someone who proofreads and helps him out in general but heâs the one to come up with the first draft, and as the ideas flow he doesnât realize itâs been already hours since heâs had a break. the way his legs and back start to cramp up due to the way heâs been sitting down make him stop for a second. he gets up from the chair to go get more coffee, but in the process manages to hit his head with one of the hanging lightbulbs. âshit,â he curses as a hand rubs his head, then notices someone else watching him. instantly feeling a little embarrassed. âi mean, whatâs up with these weird hipster lightbulbs. like, why are they hanging so low, am i right?â
Maybe it was his sense of helping others or just sheer curiosity, but Benjamin couldnât keep his gaze down on his book when he heard the loud cursing. Something close to âsolidarity painâ washed through him when he realized the occurring: Benjamin stood at a full 6 ft 5 so the lightbulbs had been a HUGE inconvenience to him as well. âTell me about it,â a soft chuckle escaped past his lips. âWhat do they have against normal lightbulbs? Too mainstream, I suppose.â
nose crinkling in thought, gabriel tilted his head to the side as he scrutinized the picture before him. glancing over his shoulder, he hesitantly spoke up, â .. hey, listen, i know itâs not your problem but â â he gestured a hand towards the artwork,  â â what do you think ? i mean, does it WORK ?? did i hang it right ?? â
âFeeling insecure about your art?â an evasive response, sure, but Benjamin couldnât quite form an opinion about the piece of work. And he was surely an opinionated one. âAnyways. It seems vague, somehow. Or is it just open to public interpretation?â
âToday I spent good twenty minutes witnessing two grown women argue about kale. Or, to be precise, the best place to get kale in Los Angeles.â Claudia blinked twice, still quite puzzled by the conversation, as she went on to take a sip of her generously-sized thing of iced coffee. âToo bad I couldnât really hear the end of their conversation. Do you know where the best kale is?â
Raising his gaze from his black coffee cup to the stranger before him, Benjamin was not sure if that conversation was relevant. He wondered if she wasnât just talking to herself rather than someone in special, but as soon as the question left her mouth, Benjamin felt OBLIGED to reply â  even if he didnât know the answer. âI think itâs subjective. I, for instance, donât think there is the best kale. I hate kale.â
ââ lee pace, thirty eight, cismale âˇÂ benjamin morrison has been living in wisteria apartments as a psychologist for three years. during that time he has earned the reputation of the enigma. it makes sense you know, they can be taciturn and volatile. but letâs not forget theyâre pretty sagacious and assertive.

now moving on to my bby BENJAMIN JOHN MORRISON. he is, well, something for sure.
CHILDHOOD:Â Benjamin was born in Manhattan (4th June, 1979), to Lucretia and Elliot Morrison. Although they were absent, his parents were caring and always did their best to make sure Benjamin would have a high-quality education. His father, a USA spy during the cold war, and his mother, an astronomy professor, valued education above anything else â that was one of the reasons why they hired him a top-notch private teacher. He didn't socialize with kids his age, his youngest acquaintance being his 24 years old cousin, whom he didn't even talk to that much. That and the fact his parents were rarely home, only contributed to his lonely childhood.Â
TEEN YEARS: Benjamin liked to watch people. Their behavior, speaking pattern and overall personality intrigued him and by the time he was sixteen years old, Benjamin had become fully engrossed in psychology. He got used to the solitude â he even enjoyed it. He could do and say whatever he wanted and no one would think he was weird because, well, no one was there to watch him. It was rather sad when he stopped to think about it, but there was nothing he could do. And honestly, his introverted nature didnât want to do anything about it.
ADULTHOOD: After getting his PhD in psychology, Benjamin moved to Los Angeles. Although he wasn't the richest person in the world, money wasn't a problem to him, so after a while, he focused on starting his own psychology business and private practice. It was hard, sure, but he eventually succeeded. Now he lives in Wisteria Apartments trying to balance his personal and professional lives.
PERSONALITY AND FACTS: Professionally and personally, Benjamin is kind of a blunt person. He believes it's best to be objective and say what needs to be said rather than sugarcoat it.
He enjoys his privacy, not letting anyone get too close to him emotionally. He likes to be in control of his own feelings (or at least pretends to be in control).Â
Just like his parents did, Benjamin really treasures education. Even though he isn't in college anymore, Benjamin never stopped seeking knowledge. His favorite subjects are philosophy and sociology (i wonder why).Â
He is really passionate about the things he likes. He will ramble for hours if you let him. Be it about his job or a movie, he just can't help himself.Â
He is kind of unpredictable. He can change plans in an eye blink and although he isn't bipolar or has BPD, his mood tends to change as well, depending on his environment and the circumstances.Â
He is a perfectionist and a very SINCERE person. If you do something and he thinks it looks like shit, he will say it in the most polite way. He is also very hard on himself. He may not show it, but he has a lot of insecurities just like anyone else and thinks he is not good enough, not yet. Obsession with perfection, one could say.Â
He is pansexual and demiromantic.
He was married once. It was during his impulsive college years and didnât last more than a year. They liked each other but decided to part ways since they wanted to focus on their career (might put up a wc later, who knows wink wink).
I guess it's all for now. It's more like a reference point, since I'll write a bio for him later. If you are confused about something or want to know more, just message me! I'm always open for plotting too, so hmu!
