The reason I say primary is because obviously there can be certain parts where she is with one, then splits and ends up with the other, but who should be the one she mainly gets with.

I officially have to limit myself to amount of decisions made for my last of us canon insertion fic au and ocs for this before writing a new chapter because otherwise I keep writing a whole page of decisions without getting a single chapter written.

I decided I want this poll to run longer, at least 3 days, I promise I'm not trying to spam I am almost done with chapter one of my canon insertion the last of us au/fanwriting It is a main oc [female] around Ellie's age on the journey with joel and ellie in part 1 and traveling with ellie in part 2, Immune like Ellie through different causes. Becomes best friends and slow romance with Ellie, grows attached to Joel as father figure after losing hers she got to know and as a mentor. It follows game timeline, outbreak in 2013 but a hybrid of game and show scenes. How many ocs should I have in this canon insertion fic?

These other ocs thought of will either be dead or missing or mentioned only in general if the amount of ocs that would fit them in doesn't make the poll.

So my ideas for the other ocs OC2 Maeve's older brother Jacob will likely appear in Jackson/Tommys dam, he will be a firefly like Maeve. He will be stubbornly protective over Maeve, theres a pretty high chance he goes to salt lake before Joel, Ellie and Maeve get there so he can find out early on what they want with his sister after the last time they kept her in custody. After events of part 1 he will either not go back to Jackson with Maeve for her own safety or go back and keep the same secret joel keeps. Possible role in part 2. OC3 Lucas would be an ex firefly comrade, best friend and on and off romance to Maeve, immune by the same causes as Maeve but not Ellie. [Likely the only immune Male] He would also likely appear in Jackson/tommys dam, definitely a role in 5 year jackson gap, possible role in part 2. For OC4 im willing to admit I don't have as many ideas other than for her to be Maeve's female mentor from the fireflies and someone who would keep joel's secret

Its sad that on the poll for my main the last of us female bi oc's main romance only 1 voted for jesse because he's one of my favorites but on the other hand big relief considering what happens [I keep most canon events in this story] I don't think I could put her through that in my writing. Her story is sad enough but then again the fate of 20 votes ellie as the winner won't pan out much better for her lol

Going off the topic of the current fanfiction I'm writing, the last of us is probably my favorite game and show to read fanfictions that are oc insertion into canon events, typically where they have a younger male or female oc around ellie's age [sometimes both] travel with Joel and Ellie. I like how in almost all of them, despite Joel being annoyed by the extra weight already being annoyed by Ellie he typically grows attached to the oc as well because I could just see him being a natural father no matter how much its against his will, I also like how when its a male oc we get to see Joel in a father son bond instead and when its a female we get to see what makes her different from Ellie and why she grows on joel as well

This is already making plenty of ideas for me. Definitely works for her starting off in boston fedra military school, can just say they placed her in there the same way they did with Ellie but later on. They will not know she is immune yet but since they experimented on her in the past and injected her with something back then, they will likely want her delivered back when they find out Ellie is immune so they can keep her as a backup.

I think this is gonna be a very interesting dynamic added to joel and ellie, I know most of the choices voted on for her make her about 50% an ellie 2.0 but unlike Ellie, she will have actually spent most of her life being watched and trained by fireflies as a child soldier after the experiments. More difficult for Joel to trust as well the more I think about it, I'm excited to get this going.

So I got a 32' tv but it turned out to be too big to put on any of my desks so i am likely to return it and get a 24' sized one instead since I dont have a mount or know how to do that, only issue? Should it be a monitor or a tv? I know if its a monitor it will likely not have built in audio but I am currently using my half gaming laptop to playgames so the audio will come out of that, however I also plan to get a ps5, switch, and gaming desktop in the future, so I will probably need to buy speakers for these so whats the best choice for what I should replace this huge tv with? Also I dont care for a smart tv or its services but i know Walmart doesn't have a regular t let alone anyplace so what should I get to get me gaming and watching stuff from my laptop asap?
