Kurapika instantly sat up the moment Leorio made his way into the living room, a small chuckle leaving his lips at his comment. The doctor was over exaggerating and it amused him, though his arms screamed in agreement. Youâd think that with everything he did for a living, this simple task of just moving would be the easiest thing, he guessed being in a different mindset really did affect the body in a weird way.
As Leorio took his spot behind him, he leaned against him, placing his hands on his arms as he let his boyfriends warmth envelope him. âYeahâŚ.Our apartmentâŚâ It felt like this was a whole dream, he honestly couldnât believe that they were here now, Before he had come into wonderland, he had been distancing himself from everyone, his whole life had been dedicated to avenging his clan, and hunting down the spiders. Now here he was, with his fated person, living an almost normal life. Â
âI feel like Iâm dreaming, and if I am, I donât want to wake up from it.â He tilted his head up to return the small kiss on his cheek before burying his face in his neck. âIf you had told me a year ago that my life would be like this I probably would have laughed. But Iâm glad. Iâm glad weâre doing this and thank you for never giving up on me LeorioâŚ.It means more than youâll ever know.â
Leorio could feel his face burn slightly hot at the words coming from Kurapikaâs mouth. Sure Leorio liked to have his softer moments with his Fated but the energy this time around felt more...raw than before. Kurapikaâs and Leorioâs life before their little group formed was traumatic at best, so something like finding a partner and moving into a shared space was probably not high on their lists...at least it wasnât on Leorioâs until after the stint at Yorknew City and getting beat over the head by his feelings for Kurapika.
Scratching his nose, âY-you just donât give up on people Kurapika...especially those that would kill ya if they wanted to...â Leorio winked at Kurapika and squeezed the other male, trying not to let his face burn itself, â...and I wonât ever give up on you Pika, count on that. And Iâm stubborn as hell, so youâre just stuck with me, got it?â
Leorio leaned back and took Kurapika with him and he laid flat on the wooden floor and sighed. There was a brief moment of pain as his back readjusted from the work that he had just finished. This was nice, very nice. Leorio took a moment to look around the living room and started to envision how they could make the space their own and how Killua would be staying over a lot...gotta make sure that everything was lightning protected.
A familiar noise gurgled its way into his ears and Leorio felt his face burn again, â....any plans for dinner?â
