We need to continue to fight for the rights of black people and of all people facing discrimination and/or police brutality for whatever reason. #ItStopsAndItStopsNow . Be it their skin colour, religion, connections they may have or even just for their opinions (assuming that it isn't hurting anybody else or inciting hatred). #justiceforgeorgefloyd While we are in this battle to speak out for the rights that black people and all people have. I.e. the right for many to not be tarred by the same brush for the actions of a few. As much as the plight of Black and Ethnic Minority people (such as myself) we should not let this distract us from other pertinent issues. For too long it is still being accepted as "ok" or "socially acceptable" to discriminate against Travellers or Gypsies, and in 2020 people are still being refused entry to certain establishments. Not based on their skin colour but still discriminating against their ethnicity. I am continuing to support #BlackLivesMatter but hopefully in doing so raise awareness for those of us for whom our suffering is not so obvious.
