Does anyone have any idea what performance this could be from?
Ringo's sideboard is longer than the night of the Alpha TV recording in '63 that a lot of the other photos are from.

The top image is a screenshot from Paul's recent SNL performance of DWLB. I've been going through it, noting the images that appear on the screen behind him, and was about to mark this one as image number 006 when I spotted the hands on hips.

All of the IDs above feature in the Observer's Book of Birds, and their illustrations originate from Coloured figures of the birds of the British Islands. Paul has often mentioned owning the Observer's Book of Birds as a kid, and learning about the birds in his local area from it.
Where I've connected the bird with a song, the song is linked in the relevant post, and also in brackets after the bird name above.
Mystery birds
there are still three birds we've spotted, but not identified:

It's a greenfinch!
The yellow markings in the finch's wing seem like the edge of the bird in the collage, but on closer inspection you can still make out the edges that have been lost in the printing process (including the edge of the breast, and the beak and top of the head). The wing marking has a dark patch about halfway down, which is still visible in the collage. The dark area near the wingtip is also still visible.
Screenshot from the interview with Paul Mescal, alternate starling image from the Coloured Figures (not the one used in the Observer's book) this is indeed the image used in Observer's. Don't know where I got the idea it wasn't.
This is the second time this image has been used in album promo (see also this post about the website).
I'm going to call it now and say this is Brian's bird.
