person (non-practicing)
people get really reactionary when it’s suggested that sad awful things can and do happen to people and that this reality can be explored through fiction
put me in ur discord server so i can feel bad about never talking in there
thoughts on dr robby pitt
dr. robby is stuck in the torment nexus. he can't live if he's not doing everything he can to save lives and each time he watches someone die a tiny part of his soul gets chipped away forever. and he'll never be a perfect doctor, can really, only, become a worse person from going through this, from perpetually . but he has to go back. he has to save people. if there is even just a chance he can save someone, he has to try, even if it kills him. in fact, he'd rather it just went ahead and killed him already because he can't seem to do it himself, even when the crumbled up remnants of his soul are itching to just make it ends. mr. rogers taught is to look for the helpers, but sometimes it's best not to look too close, lest you realize the toll helping takes. and it's awesome.
the way rr/tierney introduce ilya is so funny to me because when you first see him you're just like jeez this guy is such an asshole why is he like this. and then seconds later it's just like um it's because he has a 1) dead mom 2) who killed herself 3) an abusive dad 4) with alzheimers 5) a brother 6) who verbally abuses him on the phone 7) when ilya refuses to wire him 50 bands all at once 8) all while he spends new years eve all alone in the grossest motel you've ever seen 9) and he's bisexual.
and you're just like. well shit. that will do it i guess.
I love his lil noises.

Does anyone know what the deal is with “or wherever you listen to podcasts”? Whenever I hear it (in various podcast/podcast ads), I wonder where it originated and how it become a standard for the medium, but all attempts at research have proved futile.

Is it socially acceptable to use opaque watercolors, or is that considered gouache?
