allowing his teammate to help him with such a minor injury, it made kaldur think. despite being such a small cut, robin was PREPARED. though everyone did already wonder what items were inside that utility belt of his, what mattered the most is that he had almost any outcome of the mission planned out. leaders were supposed heal their teammates. they were supposed to be HEALERS. he gave a slight dip of his head, impressed at the younger. there truly was a leader inside of him ; one day he would lead this team.
after robin was complete, the atlantean pulls his arm back, flashing a quick grin at him. within a few minutes, he’d forget about the scratch completely. the thoughts still pondered in his head, just HOW did his skin break && blood seep through? perhaps kaldur was being reckless && wasn’t paying attention.

GENTLY WASHING OUT the wound with water, he watches the blood run out of the small cut, diluted by the water, until he is certain that the wound is clean. He expertly wraps the bandage around Aqualand’s arm -- he’s been trained in field first-aid by Batman, Agent A, and Doctor Thompkins; although, he isn’t able to do more complicated procedures, even if he knows the theory -- so that it’s tight enough to stop the bleeding but not tight enough to cause Aqualad to lose blood circulation in his arm.

to notice the dip in Aqualad’s head, but not
understand it until much later. }
“You’re welcome, AL,” he states with a small smile, head tilting to acknowledge the gratitude. He puts the water bottle, half-empty now, and the rest of the bandages back into his utility belt.
At the question, he does a mental evaluation. He did get involved in a lot of the fighting, and took a few harsh blows, but he seems fine. Perhaps he’ll be a bit sore tomorrow, and maybe his ribs are aching a bit, but he’ll be okay for patrol tonight and any other missions later.
“I’m fine, I’ll just be a bit sore tomorrow,” he answers with a grin.
