Prompt: I've had this idea running in my head for a while now; so what if Overhaul had a s/o that he really loved but that person was actually really afraid of him and was only pretending to be in love w/ him for their own safety? And like when the heroes come they finally take it as their chance to escape? This s/o aslo desperately wants to help Eri but can't do anything until this point?

Requester: Trapped Anon

Chisaki:

○ I get the feeling that Chisaki is, at his core, a fairly perceptive person. S/o would have had to have been stuck with him, pretending very convincingly, for a long time. It’s most likely that he simply wanted them as his own and had little regard for their feelings

○ He starts to slip more the better things go for him. His confidence grows and his attention shifts from s/o. So many are devoted to him, and he’s come to take the thought of s/o being his for granted

○ He hates how hurt he is when s/o finally shows their true intentions and leaves him, hiding behind the heroes like a coward. He can feel his heart wrench, pulling at his chest as if it’s trying to run off and join them

○ At first, he masks it as anger. Of course the cowardly little bitch would leave him - she was just like those heroes. A stain on society. Somehow insulting s/o only makes him feel worse

○ He uses denial to keep himself focused. No matter how physically painful the thought of losing s/o is he’ll tell himself that he never really loved them, that they were a convenient stress relief, all to keep him focused on the task at hand

○ Still, he risks himself and his men in one last-ditch effort to steal s/o back. He’s furious when he fails and is forced to finally retreat, lest all of his plans go to waste.

○ Initially, he’s cursing them, swearing he’ll take them back someday and make them see what a grave mistake they’d made. Once he’s attached he wont let go so easily.

○ After losing the few things he has left to Shigaraki, though, his mind drifts again to s/o. Laying on his back without his life’s work and without his power, he thinks of them. They really are gone, and they really never belonged to him the way he wanted them to most. He can’t help but reflect, no matter how empty it makes him feel.

Prompt: Iida finding out someone really likes him but doesn’t have the courage to confess their feels. They believe that his to cool ( being in the hero class and the Class president no less) to go out with a nobody like them.

Requester: Timid Anon

Iida:

○ In complete honesty Iida isn’t all that likely to notice s/o’s feelings on his own. He is somewhat perceptive with those he’s really close to, but as he’s not in s/o’s class and doesn’t see them all the time, he doesn’t really pick up on their feelings

○ If they’re close friends Iida may notice that s/o has been acting strangely, but he’s not likely to be able to figure out why they’re acting the way they are. Honestly he’s more likely to think he’s offended them than that they have feelings for him

○ It’s probably Ochaco that exposes them, either by accident or to finally settle what’s been going on between Iida and s/o for far too long. Even hearing the words directly though, Iida has a hard time believing them

○ Believe them or not, though, Iida can’t get the idea out of his head. It keeps him awake and night and distracts him from his studies. Enough becomes enough and Iida finally confronts s/o

○ He tries to bring it up nonchalantly, just saying that he heard it as a rumor. If s/o says it’s false he’ll just laugh it off and say he thought it was silly but wanted s/o to know what people say about them - he’s not quite confident enough to push the issue

○ However, s/o is more likely shocked. If they’re not sure what to say Iida will let himself hope that there’s something to the rumor and will push very slightly. He’s soft and probably says something along the lines of ‘may I ask... is it true?’

○ Accepts s/o’s answer at face value. If they say no he’ll drop it. However, if they say yes his face lights right up. He’s quick to ask them out, as romantically as he can given the situation

○ When s/o explains why they waited so long to tell him Iida’s in full lecture mode, telling them how wonderful they are, that he has plenty of faults, and that they aren’t giving themselves enough credit. It’s perhaps a bit overbearing, but it’s sweet too.

Prompt: Hello there! Focus Anon is back again! I was wondering if I could get some headcanons for Midoriya, Kirishima and Tsuyu helping out their S/O while they are feeling sick (Like having the common cold.) Maybe trying to cheer them up and help them with food or medicine?

Requester: Focus Anon

Midoriya:

○ A total worrywart. Even if it’s just a small cold Midoriya can’t help but worry for his partner’s well being. He tries not to be overwhelming, especially when his partner insists that they’re fine, but he’s extremely doting. If they need anything at all he’s got it. Any signs of discomfort and he’s fixing what he can right away.

○ He’ll actually do anything s/o asks. Even if it’s small, or they could do it themselves - he just likes to feel like he’s helping and he gets antsy if there’s not much he can do

○ Insists that s/o take medicine. He’ll come back from the store with all manner of cough drops, stomach medicine and anything else he thinks s/o might need and it’s impossible for them to reject taking it when he looks at them with such sweet puppy-dog eyes

○ He really wants to make them soup, since that’s what his mother always did for him when he was young, but he can’t cook. He might be able to manage some canned soup, or something pre-packaged if s/o wants though

○ Always asking s/o if they’re ok if they show even the most minor of discomfort. S/o coughs and he’s asking them if they’re ok, if they need some water, a lozenge...

○ He doesn’t want s/o doing anything that makes them move around too much since they need their rest to get better. Any activities with him will be pretty stationary. Still, Midoriya is happy to snuggle next to his partner in bed and hold them while they fall asleep, or watch a movie with them

Kirishima:

○ He’s also pretty worried, but he’s much calmed than Midoriya. He knows it’ll go away in time and s/o just needs to rest to shake it off, but he hates to see them so uncomfortable. He’ll do whatever s/o asks to make things a little easier for them

○ Texts them a fair bit during the day to make sure they’re alright. He’ll leave them alone for a few hours if they tell him they’re going to nap for a bit, but otherwise he checks in pretty regularly, making sure they’re feeling ok and don’t need anything

○ Unless s/o asks to be alone he’s going to spend all the time he can with them so they have someone to help if they need anything, and so they have a little company. As much as Kiri hates seeming them so sick, he hates the thought of them dealing with it by themselves and feeling lonely more

○ Always wears the biggest smile he can around them. He’s hoping that his positivity might rub off on them and help them feel a little better, or cheer them up at least.

○ Cracks a lot of jokes too. Being sick sucks, and he can’t make them feel better physically, but he does his best to make the emotional toll easier on them.

○ He still wants to cuddle and kiss them the same as normal. He doesn’t care if he gets sick, he hates going without the affection! S/o might have to keep him from getting too close and worry about his health for him here

Asui:

○ Tsu is actually very good at caring for sick people. Being the oldest of her siblings she often helps take care of them when they’re sick, so she has a fair amount of experience in taking care of sick people

○ Makes sure that s/o always has everything they need on hand so they can get it easily right when they need it. They have medicine, water, and anything else they might want on their bedside table

○ Tsu is a little more hands-off overall - unless her partner wants to be coddled. Normally though she gives them a bit more space so they can rest properly without her distracting them

○ Of course she checks in every now and again to make sure s/o is doing ok, either sending them texts or popping her head into their room just to ask if they need anything or want any company.

○ If they’re feeling up to eating she’ll make them anything they want, so long as it’s fairly nutritious. If not, she’ll still make a light soup, or bring them some crackers. They don’t have to eat it if they can’t but it’s there just in case. She does insist that they drink plenty of water, though

○ If they’re still in school Tsu makes sure to take extra notes for s/o so that they’ll be prepared once they come back to class. She pays extra attention so she can help them catch up once they’re feeling better

Prompt: Would you be willing to do headcanons / an imagine for Aizawa w/ Hanahaki? Though, I’d like if it ended happily!!            

Requester: Hanahaki Anon

Notes: It’s been a long time since I’ve written about Hanahaki so I hope this is alright! For those who don’t know, hanahaki is basically a disease where flowers grow in someone’s lungs when they love someone who doesn’t love them back. It causes them to cough up flower petals.

Aizawa:

○ Developing hanahaki wasn’t something Aizawa ever envisioned would happen to him. He’s never been much of a romantic, and he’s always thought of himself as too logical to fall completely in love with someone who wouldn’t share the same feelings.

○ Even so, Aizawa is a man who knows himself. When he finds himself falling for s/o he knows. What catches him off guard is his inability to suppress his feelings no matter what he does or how much he distances himself.

○ Because he’s so self-aware it doesn’t exactly surprise Aizawa when he wakes up in the morning to find himself coughing up bloody petals all over his bathroom sink. If anything, he’s a little dissapointed with himself for letting his emotions get the best of him.

○ Being the type of person he is, Aizawa isn’t going to tell anyone that he has hanahaki. He doesn’t want to worry anyone, or be bothered about it. It’s something he’ll deal with himself. He ends up going through fair lengths to hide it in hopes that nobody finds out about his condition.

○ He’d thought, at first, that he’d just get the flowers removed and that would be the end of it. However, despite his better judgement Aizawa finds himself continually postponing making the appointment. He hates to admit it, but he almost likes the feeling of warmth he gets his his chest when he looks at s/o - even if it’s now accompanied by an ache in his lungs

○ It’s when the growth gets so bad that it starts to interfere with his hero work that Aizawa decides he can’t put it off any longer. He can’t breathe well enough to chase villains or keep up fights, and no matter how strong his feeligns are for s/o, his hero work has to come first

○ Fortunately, it’s about this time that s/o realizes something is wrong too. Concerned for Aizawa’s well-being they follow him one of the times he excuses himself, and catches him emptying a scarf full of petals into the garbage. There’s no chance for Aizawa to make up any excuses when he ends up unable to control a cough and spews several more fresh petals into the garbage can.

○ It’s s/o’s extreme worry that finally manages to draw out a confession from Aizawa. He was sure they didn’t feel the same, that things wouldn’t work, so he didn’t want to bother with the hassle - or inconvenience s/o. They don’t give him a choice now though. Of course, Aizawa’s confession just leads to more lecturing on s/o’s part because of course they love him how could he be stupid enough to let himself suffer like this for so long instead of just telling them?!?!?! It’s a rough start, but everything works out beautifully for both of them in the end.

Requester: Soulmate Anon            

Notes: Yaaaas soulmatesssss. I went for the colourblind one! Bonus, imagine All Might realizing just how frickin’ bright his costume is for the first time! Also, Aizawa highkey likes his sweats more when he realizes they’re neon pink

Toshinori:

○ Toshinori went through almost his whole life without a soulmate. When he was younger this bothered him, worried him even. Once he got into the peak of his hero work though, he mostly forgot about it - even if he did have a soulmate he would have little time for them

○ He would still think about it sometimes, but not having ever met his soulmate despite his age (something almost unheard of) would often make him feel a bit insecure and uncomfortable. That, and knowing how hard it would be to manage a love life on top of being the symbol of peace, would be incedibly difficult, so he tries not to think about it

○ When he first runs into his soulmate Toshinori is terrified. Both of their eyes light up in recognition and Toshinori knows that their world has sparked into colours they’ve never been able to imagine too. He wants to run, but he knows he can’t

○ It takes a very, very long time for the two to get close. Toshinori struggles not to be distant, and it’s been so long since he’s let anyone in that he’s not even sure he knows how. Still, something feels so right when they’re together that s/o keeps trying, and Toshinori can’t bring himself to let them go

○ Once the couple finally manage to get close, s/o getting through Toshinori’s walls and Toshinori accepting them fully into his life, neither of them can imagine living without the other. They become such a complete part of one another’s routines and life that neither can remember what things were like before

○ Toshinori is very protective of his soulmate. He knows he’s made many enemies and there are plenty of people who would use his soulmate against him if they could. He’s sometimes a little overbearing but he means well. He went so long without his other half that now that he has them, he can’t bare the thought of being without them again.

Toyomitsu:

○ Taishiro is a pretty romantic guy, so ever since he was a kid he’s been excited about the idea of meeting his soulmate. In his younger years he’d sometimes go out to crowded places and look around as much as he could in hopes that his world would light up the way everyone always described it

○ The longer Taishiro went living in black and grey the more antsy he got. He used to be afraid that he might not even have a soulmate! Now that he’s older he’s mellowed a bit, and isn’t so rushed, but he still finds himself craning around to try to meet everyone’s eye in crowded markets from time to time

○ When Taishiro finally meets his soulmate for the first time he’s so excited! Honestly he just barely manages to restrain himself from grabbing them and spinning them around right there. He can’t believe he finally met them, but he has!

○ Completely enamored immediately. All the dislike of waiting is out the window because Taishiro knows immediately that s/o was completely and totally worth the wait

○ Litters them with compliments and exclamations of how excited he is to meet them as soon as he’s introduced themselves. He’s asking them on a date immediately and bringing them to the nearest, cutest cafe he knows of so they can get to know all about each other

○ Taishiro’s so excited that he wants to introduce s/o to everyone right away! If they’re not comfortable he’s more than happy to wait, of course, but he wont be able to stop himself from telling everyone all about them. It may be a bit awkward for s/o at first, meeting all of Taishiro’s friends and family who know like everything about them, but that discomfort is soon forgotten as they quickly become just another member of the family.

Aizawa:

○ Aizawa has never been big on the idea of soulmates. It’s all very cheesy in his mind, and his goals and aspirations have always come first so it’s not something he ever really worried about

○ Honestly, friends and family are more concerned about it than he is. Questions about whether he’s found his soulmate or not, and offers to take him out in hopes that he may run into them but Aizawa finds this kind of thing more annoying than anything else.

○ Because he’s so disinterested, and almost convinced that soulmates are overrated, Aizawa is completely shocked at the feeling he gets when he first lays eyes on his soulmate and his world explodes into colour. He feels suddenly more complete, as if his heart had been an outline that someone had just decided to colour in

○ S/o’s first look at Aizawa is probably just turning to see him staring at them blankly, because he’s kind of awestruck and not completely sure how he wants to react. Maybe it’s a bit of a weird first impression (after all, s/o did just spot a strange, scruffy looking, half-asleep man dressed in all black staring straight at them) but he’s their soulmate so they’ll probably just embrace it

○ Aizawa’s surprised at how quickly he accepts s/o into almost every aspect of his life. Something about them just seems to fit, like they’re supposed to be there and he just couldn’t see that a piece was missing from is life until they came into it. He never says that though because he doesn’t want to hear all the ‘I told you so’s’

○ Likes to complain about how bright everything is now that it’s in colour. He doesn’t actually dislike it though - it’s actually a weird way he shows that he’s happy to have his soulmate in his life. He totally judges other people’s colour choices in their outfits now though, lowkey

Togata:

○ He likely thinks it’s interesting at first seeing as most of the girls he knows have completely straight hair - or straighten it if it isn’t (not that he really knows the difference)

○ Likes to play with it. He’ll stop right away if s/o finds it annoying, but he likes to gently tug at the curls and watch them bounce back into place - he thinks it’s cute!

○ Totally tries to style it when they’re alone together and he’s playing around, but he always ends up making a big tangled mess out of it. He really was trying his best, though! Of course, whenever he turns their hair into a big knot he’ll do everything he can to help them get it back to normal

○ Sometimes gets s/o to style his hair, if they’re up for it! No matter how goofy it looks afterwards he’ll wear it around with pride and brag to all of his friends that s/o was the one who did it up the way it is.

○ Will without question end up bragging that his s/o has the prettiest hair in the school. He just loves it.

Todoroki:

○ He doesn’t even notice it at first, actually. It’s not until he falls for s/o that he starts to appreciate how beautiful their hair is

○ He loves to play with it too, bur unlike Mirio Todoroki is more the type to run his hands through it and feel the way it curls around his fingers, undoing and re-forming around them

○ He totally got his hand tangled in s/o’s hair once or twice while he was playing with it. He’s still a bit embarrassed about that, though

○ Finds it oddly relaxing. If s/o is sitting in front of him he struggles to concentrate on what’s going on around them as Todoroki can’t help but watch the way s/o’s hair bobs and bounces around whenever they move. It’s super cute to him and he gets really captivated by it

○ Likes to watch how s/o takes care of their hair. ‘What do you mean you don’t have to brush it?’ he thinks it’s kind of interesting, but it’s also just relaxing for him to watch.

Requester: Mighty Anon

Toshinori:

○ Because of his position Toshinori tries not to get too attached to anyone. He keeps a safe distance from those around him and he’d managed to keep that up for years - until s/o came along.

○ Chances are he’s forced to be close to them a fair bit for some reason: maybe they’re his co-worker, or just someone who reaches out to him a fair bit. Either way, he can’t stop meeting them and he can’t stop himself from falling for them

○ Toshinori thinks about his crush all the time. Unless he’s completely absorbed in something else, like training or another important task, his mind is completely on them. He thinks about them during lunch, when he wakes up, and sometimes he can hardly fall asleep because he’s too busy thinking about them

○ Daydreams about cute scenarios between the two of them. They’re just about always incredibly innocent (like s/o shyly offering him homemade chocolate for valentines day, giggling as he spins them around in his arms, ect) but he always feels quite guilty for daydreaming about them afterwards anyways

○ So easily distracted when they’re concerned. Someone says s/o’s name and they immediately have his attention. He cannot talk about s/o and do something else at once. He was doing the dishes from his lunch at work once and when Hizashi mentioned s/o to him he dropped them and smashed them all on the floor

○ Ends up spitting blood everywhere whenever s/o does something that really catches his attention. Usually it’s when he thinks they’re being particularly cute, or they say something really cute. On occasion they’ve just been super nice to him or one of the students and he’s done the same thing though. God forbid they do something he thinks is sexy - his body literally cannot handle it when they do things that are attractive.

○ He hasn’t had a crush in so long that he’s not really sure how to handle the feelings. They’re strange and a little uncomfortable. Because of this, he’s very awkward around s/o. They make him a bit nervous too, which makes things even worse. He can talk business with them, but when it comes to small talk or chat about their personal lives his tongue ties itself in a knot and he can never seem to say what he wants to

○ Can’t help but lowkey try to impress them. Half the time he’s not even fully aware that he’s doing it, but he definitely does. He loves receiving praise when s/o is close enough o hear, and has once or twice used his All Might form to attempt to do something to make himself look good in front of them (which half the time resulted in him losing the form part way through and hurting himself.)

○ 10x the gentleman he usually is, and he’s usually quite gentlemanly. He will actually go out of his way to do nice things for s/o, like open doors or pull out a chair for them.

○ His crush is super obvious to just about anyone who pays attention, but he’ll still deny it fervently. It’s a little bit from embarrassment, and mostly from the fact that he thinks he shouldn’t have a crush. No matter what he says though there isn’t anyone who doesn’t know just how he feels about s/o

Requester: Doodle Anon

Bakugou:

○ Bakugou isn’t nosy exactly, so if s/o hadn’t ever shared their drawings with him before he wouldn’t ask. It’s their business what they draw and he probably doesn’t really think about it all too much

○ But when he’s left alone in s/o’s room while they get ready for a date and he sees it lying open on the dresser he can’t help but take a peek. He’s bored fom waiting and honestly, a bit curious

○ Not too interested in the pictures of s/o’s friends. Other than being impressed with how well s/o could draw he’s not super interested and probably skims over those ones

○ Seeing doodles of other boys makes him a little jealous, to be honest. It’s not something he’d ever tell s/o not to do, but he can be a bit insecure and seeing s/o spending so much time studying and drawing other men makes him scowl a bit if he thinks about it too hard

○ Those thoughts are totally gone when he sees just how much s/o’s drawn him. He freezes when he first sees his face reflected back at him on paper, more detailed and better done than any of the other portraits s/o has in her book

○ Though he’d just been lazily skimming the book before, Bakugou finds himself going a bit pink as he looks though and finds more pictures of himself in different poses, some from s/o’s imagination and others moments he remembers sharing with them.

○ Bakugou is incredibly flattered and it’s a bit of an ego boost for him, in all honesty. S/o definitely must pay at least as much attention to him as he does to them if they can draw him this well. Of course, despite being genuinely happy he’s going to act incredibly smug about the whole thing when s/o walks in to see him looking through their sketchbook

Kirishima:

○ Kirishima doesn’t try to be nosy but he’s really interested in his partner and the things they like, so he definitely wants to know about their drawing! He asks them about it a lot, but s/o’s vague answers just make him more curious

○ He sees s/o doodling before class one day and he can’t help but lean over to look. He’s pretty obvious about it (he’s not trying to be sneaky) so s/o can push him away if they want, but he does end up getting a peak of what they’re drawing.

○ “Hey, is that... me?” Kirishima manages to get a glimpse of their picture and as it turns out s/o is, in fact, sketching him. “Can I see?” He’s so sweet about asking that it’s hard for s/o to say no - plus he’s already seen it anyways

○ He’s unusally quiet while he looks it over. Though that may make s/o a little nervous it’s just because he’s taking his time to actually think about it, and he’s really touched. In Kirishima’s mind he doesn’t look even close to that handsome in real life - does s/o really see him like that? He’s super happy about it though

○ He’s going to want to look at the rest of their art after that for sure. If s/o stops him, or doesn’t want him to look through he wont argue and respects that completely. But, if they do he’s happy to look through every drawing they let him

○ So amazed. S/o draws everyone so well, and they all look so happy in each picture. It makes Kirishima super happy to see how highly s/o thinks of their friends - and of him.

○ He’s a bucket of compliments, honestly. He can’t spot himself from telling s/o how amazing their art is, how awesome it is that they’ve improved as much as they have in the course of like, one sketchbook, and how spot-on everyone looks

Taishiro:

○ It’s likely that Taishiro sees s/o’s sketch in a very similar manner to how Kirishima does. He walks into the livingroom where s/o is sketching on the couch and just sort of leans over their shoulder to see what they’re doing

○ “Woah! Hey is that me?!” Not even thinking that s/o might be shy, Taishiro is super excited about their drawing. It’s the first thing he says as soon as he notices what they’re doing so he probably scares s/o half to death without noticing

○ “Sorry, sorry! It looks amazing though! How long’ve you been able to draw so amazing huh?” Even through s/o shouting at him or hiding their art away he’s complimenting them cheerfully - though he does hope that his compliments will calm them down a bit

○ Taishiro’s always been more than happy to help s/o with their drawings when he could. If they ever needed a pose reference he was always happy to help; he never realized that they were actually drawing him when he did that though

○ There are drawings of Taishiro in all of his forms: not just his large and small forms, but s few of the transitional stages in between. All of them show crazy attention to detail and while Taishiro is a little embarrassed when he thinks about how closely s/o must have been looking at him to draw what they did, he’s mostly really flattered

○ Offers to let s/o draw him anytime! They don’t need to keep it a secret, he thinks it’s super sweet of them! He’ll even pose however they want. He really just wants to be helpful, but lowkey loves the idea of s/o drawing him

○ The doodles of s/o, or s/o with friends, or the two of them together are so adorable to Taishiro. He just thinks the love s/o has for those around them is the sweetest thing in the world

Notes: I wasn’t completely sure how to go about something so serious, but I hope I did it justice. I also didn’t take the perspective that they were super close to the student, but if you wanted something like that feel free to re-request once the box is open

Uraraka:

○ She feels like she took a blow to the head when she hears about it. She feels suddenly disoriented, light-headed, and things don’t feel quite real for a second. It’s like she’s looking at the scene through a telescope and isn’t really there

○ She’s wide-eyed, white faced, and even the trembling hands that cover her mouth can’t hide her horror. Her classmate is... dead? Like really and truly actually dead? She can’t believe it - she doesn’t want to.

○ If she was there to see the incident she can’t stop herself from vomiting. If she wasn’t present herself she’ll still feel rather nauseous and have to clench her teeth and attempt to steady her ragged breathing to keep it down

○ She’ll tear up for sure. The situation is serious, everyone is being evacuated and then is not the time to cry, but she can’t keep the tears completely down and she’s shaking as she’s escorted out of the area

○ She probably cuddles up with Tsu and Mina for comfort once they reach safety and the three are huddled together for a long time, steadying one another

○ Uraraka’s one of the first to ask if everyone else is ok. It’s horrible what happened to their classmate and she can’t help but be a bit scared that they weren’t the only one hurt. Focusing on others helps her keep her mind away from the worst of it too

○ Hearing anything about the accident on the news or from other students makes her feel sick and bit shaky for quite a while afterwards. She hasn’t forgotten her classmate and she pays her respects as best she can, but she can’t really talk about them either

Bakugou:

○ Death is something Bakugou hasn’t really encountered - not fully. He knows what danger is, what it’s like to fear for your life, but to have someone close to him actually die is new for him

○ He doesn’t know how to react. He doesn’t have a false illusion of safety (not after everything he’s been though) but to have someone die during a training exercise? That’s jarring

○ He’d been having fun showing off until the announcement had been made too. At first he’d complained about things being called off but the second he finds out why it’s like the world’s been ripped out from under him

○ More than anything it makes him feel afraid. Afraid for himself, afraid for his friends, for those around him. He knew that this was a dangerous career path and he understands that people get hurt - he’s been one. But it isn’t until he sees his classmate’s body that he fully understands the weight of it all, and what the worst case scenario really looks like

○ He comes across as terrible and callous because he doesn’t want to be feeling everything that he is and thus tries to ignore it. “They wouldn’t be dead if they weren’t so weak!” He says things like that, but every time he remembers that they’re really dead is leaves a pit in his stomach. He just wants to find some way to justify what happened, and stop it from hurting

○ He’s increasingly angry in the following weeks. He’s angry at his classmate for dying, angry at the teachers for letting them die when they’re supposed to be protecting them, and angry at himself for being so effected. He takes his emotions out by training almost non-stop, determined to never be in a danger he can’t get out of

Todoroki:

○ When the exercise is called off for an emergency Todoroki is one of the calmest. He assumes that either something went wrong with the equipment or someone had been injured. With such an intense exercise it wouldn’t be surprising for one of the physically weaker students to need to be taken to Recover Girl

○ It hadn’t even crossed Todoroki’s mind that he could have been worse than that. When he hears that someone died he completely freezes. He has no idea how to process the information or to handle it, so for a solid few minutes he doesn’t

○ He needs to be physically dragged from the area by teachers because his body just wont respond to him. Even once he’s come into himself again his brain is swirling with a million questions and worries

○ His first concern is his close friends. He knows they’re all incredibly strong, but he can’t help but worry about them. It’s taken him so much time and so much effort to open up and the people he’s gotten close to mean too much to him for him to be able to handle losing them

○ Todoroki’s first order of business is to find his friends once everyone’s been ushered to the safe area. He does manage to spot them all pretty quickly and groups up with them, asking all of them if they’re alright just to be sure. He feels terrible for being relieved when he sees that they are

○ Once he’s managed to process the situation a little better Todoroki feels an insane amount of guilt. No matter who tells him it wasn’t his fault he can’t help but feel like he somehow should have been able to protect them, or figure out what was happening to them so he could call for help

○ Todoroki finds himself staring at the empty seat left in their classroom for a long time and it makes him feel sick with horror and guilt every time he does

Prompt: Saw the romance thing you did with Hizashi and thought of something fun (and cute!) to play around with. Hizashi has been trying to woo his crush for a while, but they're completely oblivious about his intentions cuz they don't see themselves as someone deserving of love and Mic is a pretty nice (and handsome, cute, charming, funny, smart) guy to everyone around him, so his action don't seem to be special exclusively for them. Lending you his coat and walking you home? Well it is cold and late.    

Requester: Oblivious Anon

Hizashi:

○ Hizashi is not a subtle guy. When he feels a certain way just about everyone knows, especially if he wants to get the message across. Having someone totally not getting it is definitely a situation he’s not super used to

○ He’s also been around the block once or twice. He was pretty popular in his youth (and he still is, honestly) so flirting and such is pretty natural for him. In doing things like walking s/o home, sharing his jacket, complimenting them daily, he feels like he’s being pretty obvious

○ When he realizes that s/o is genuinely not understanding and isn’t seeing the romantic motivations behind his actions Hizashi thinks that he’s probably not being obvious enough. If s/o is that oblivious he just needs to crank things up to 11... and since he’s just about always cranked up to 11 he’s really cranking things up to like, 22

○ Daily compliments that can get pretty suggestive, if s/o isn’t uncomfortable with that, going out to lunch with them as often as possible, walking s/o home every day and even staying late to walk with them if they have to stay later. Gifts, romantic gestures, not-so-subtle hints that s/o would be an amazing partner; Hizashi’s really doing everything he can think of to make his feelings as obvious as possible

○ When s/o still doesn’t get it Hizashi’s at a total loss. Did he read them wrong? Maybe s/o just doesn’t like him? But maybe they really are that oblivious - they seem pretty innocent, after all...

○ The situation puts Hizashi into a full-blown (albeit somewhat comedic) crisis. He’ll be bothering Aizawa all the time whining about how he doesn’t know how to make s/o understand that he’s hitting on them in a mix of complaints and compliments about how cute but toally oblivious they are

○ “Why don’t you just tell them you have feelings for them then?” It’s when Aizawa finally gets fed up hearing about such a silly situation on a daily basis that he grumbles what, to him, is the most obvious solution

○ Hizashi had thought about that before, but he’d discarded the idea so early in that it didn’t really occur to him again. His wailing immediately stops upon being given the advice and he just kind of stares at Aizawa as he processes things

○ He’s silent for all of 0.5 seconds before he explodes into cheering shaking Aizawa in his enthusiasm as he yells about how smart Aizawa is and what a great idea that is. Aizawa is not happy to be jostled around like that but Hizashi’s tearing out of the room to find s/o before Aizawa can do anything about it

○ Hizashi had originally been planning to kind of just fall together with s/o, but Aizawa’s right - at this point, confessing is the last thing he can do to get his feelings across to s/o. He finds them before classes start and spills all of his feelings out, making it as clear as possible that he likes them as more than a friend. If s/o’s struggling to believe him he’ll swear to do anything to prove that his feelings are genuine - and, for the most part, he will.

Notes: Not too specific at all, no worries! Toga’s a cutie isn’t she?

Toga:

○ In complete and total honesty, in the very beginning Toga isn’t super interested in s/o’s quirk. She likes violence and she likes blood, and while mind games can be important so she can get those things, quirks that are more subtle like s/o’s aren’t ones that catch her attention

○ However, the more she starts to like s/o the more she becomes interested. Fear inducement... does that mean s/o plays on their targets specific worst fears or is it just any fear? If it is specific to the person then it’s kind of like they’re getting into their targets head, isn’t it?

○ It’s a clear sign of her becoming more interested in s/o when she starts asking them questions about their quirk. Toga asks them in such a rapid-fire manner that s/o probably can’t answer them all, but she’s sure to let them speak when she asks the qestions she’s most interested in hearing the answer for

○ She’s got an obsession with ‘becoming’ who she loves. S/o’s quirk giving them the ability to get into others heads, to expose their worst fears and see them at their weakest, is a step in that direction in her mind. She thinks that’s pretty hot, actually, and quite romantic

○ Toga might even ask s/o to expose her worst fear once they’re together. It’s a strange request but Toga thinks that it’s a way for them to become one in mind and, even if it’s only temporary, she definitely wants that

○ Seeing as s/o is also a villain Toga’s definitely going to want to take them on killing sprees. She won’t force them, exactly, but she’s definitely persistent. Like she really wants to go with them.

○ They’ll use s/o’s quirk to paralyze the victim with fear and then Toga will go in for the kill. She prefers to do the messy part and is quite happy that s/o allows her the honor.

○ They end up in the news for their killing sprees, though both of their names are hidden, and Toga thinks it’s a testament to their love

○ Because of the way Toga sees s/o’s quirk she can get a bit grumpy if they use it on others. Sometimes she’ll pout at Shigaraki and try to get him to re-work a plan if it involves s/o using it on other girls

○ But, if the people die in the end, and s/o is still coming home to Toga she gets over it pretty quickly. No matter what s/o is still hers, still kills with her, she’s physically been them and s/o can use their quirk on her whenever she wants. Even if s/o uses it on someone else there’s still no one closer to being them than she is

While he’s not exactly one to give crazy amounts of attention, he can be pretty affectionate in the right mood and, again, in the right mood is usually ok with his s/o seeking him out for attention. That being said, I think he’s the same was as you are in that some days he’s perfectly comfortable with attention and affection, and others it makes him severely uncomfortable. Because this is something you both experience you can understand when the other isn’t down for affection/much attention, and respect one another’s boundaries. Dabi loves himself an independent woman and, as willing as he is to protect you, he loves to watch you take care of yourself; he thinks it’s really hot when you tell someone off for disrespecting you. While he always says he doesn’t need you to stand up for him he’s lowkey glad that you’re protective of him - as long as it doesn’t get you in trouble. Dabi’s very easy-going and usually radiates calm which is really helpful for your anxiety. He’s very patient and good at helping you calm down when you’re at your worst. The fact that you want to be a chef and, presumably, can cook, is a bonus too. Dabi honestly can’t cook at all so having someone cook for him is great in his opinion. Todoroki:

○ Let it be known that Todoroki would be very, extremely, entirely and completely against the idea of s/o wiping his memory to ‘protect’ him. If anything, he wants to protect them from their parents, seeing as they’re more important to him than he is to himself

○ He’d do everything he could to reason with him - tell them it doesn’t matter what his father thinks, seeing as he’d only every approve of a quirk marriage that Todoroki would never agree to, that he loves s/o, he’d downright beg them not to erase his memory if he had to

○ S/o is the best god damn thing that’s ever happened to Todoroki and he’s not only terrified of them getting hurt without him there to protect him, but he’s terrified of losing them

○ Unfortunately, s/o has the same fears. They erase his memories of them, of their relationship and leave him in hopes that that will be enough to prevent him from getting targeted. His life is more important than either of their feelings

○ When Todoroki comes to he’s alone in a hospital bed and incredibly confused. He has no idea how he go there, and something doesn’t feel quite right, but he can’t explain why. It feels like something’s missing but he can’t really place it. Th doctors have no idea what’s wrong with him or why an unknown person dropped him off.

○ After a few days of not being able to find anything wrong they send him home. By that time everyone at school knows some of the situation and has been sworn to secrecy by s/o. Too many hints, or anyone telling him what happened would lead to him remembering everything which would be too painful for both of them

○ Of course, even transferring to general studies can’t keep s/o away from Todoroki forever. They have a shared lunch period and the first time Todoroki sees s/o again he feels it. He feels this tug in his gut, a swell of affection and familiarity.

○ In the following days Todoroki makes every excuse he can to get near s/o. Even if they try to avoid him he manages to find them. Aside from him believing he’s fallen in love with them at first sight and wanting s/o to understand his actions, he’s knows there’s something there. Something he can’t explain, and he can’t leave things be until he knows what that is.

○ It takes months, but eventually he remembers. S/o sees him too often, his friends mention them too much (even if they immediately stop talking and give each other sad, uncomfortable looks) for s/o’s quirk to keep hold forever.

○ Todoroki feels so much when this happens. Anger, betrayal, pain, worthlessness, helplessness, but he also feels sympathy. He also still feels love; regardless as to what s/o did, he’s still in love with them. He’ll speed off to find s/o the second everything falls together, dragging them off as soon as their class ends and pinning them to a wall once they’re somewhere private, hand around their wrist and forehead pressed against their. “I remember.”
