Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 2 2/3 cups Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 3/4 cups chopped walnuts.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 300F 150C. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and lemon juice. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
