To be “Hewn” is the euphoric sacred dream of all Scolpirenauts, to earn their true divine shape after a crucible of glorious combat with a worthy “sculptor”. Every cut, puncture, dent, burn, corrosion, infection, frostbite, poison, and warp afflicting them influences their metamorphosis, developing in opposition to the dominant elements.

The end result is a holy hulk molded by extraordinary physical trauma and a deeply mad faith, with images of the hallowed Progenitor and "The Hand of Command" expressing across their strange-metal shell. Compared to the Warframes that inspired them, they are slower and more plodding, but their unmatched resilience allows patient and strategic strikes to indulge in revelrous combat. New abilities blossom in the Hewn form, including control over personal gravity and the manipulation of energy inherited from their early form’s abuse, weaponized in the left arm in various types. A Hewn Scolpirenaut reveres the Warframe who acted as their sculptor, dedicating poems of violent gratitude or even part of their form to the carver that whittled them into divinity. After one last battle to test their new body against the Tenno, the Scolpirenaut gives them a choice: 1. To slay the Scolpirenaut for a good death (not wishing to stagnate in victory as the modern Grineer have) and “living on” as weapons for the Tenno to use.

2. To live on as an ally that can be inhabited much like the Warframes themselves, in hopes of either freeing the Grineer from The Twin Queens’ rot, or to finally see Tau and begin the stillborn crusade.
