Finally wrangled some time with @krieper’s guy and my loupe. I badly miss microscope work — one of these days I’ll buckle and get a handheld digital for plants and specimens like this as well as the workshop bench — but this was a good reminder that lighting and plane of section considerations are fucks. Always fun problems to solve. Well, usually always.
