Also I've had the idea of the vn for quite some time so here's something I wrote in a Google doc some time ago:

It is 3:20 am but do I look like I care? No. And I'm having writer's block for the suzukanon fic so we're doing Info-Chanβs character for the visual novel (ik, very skibidi).
Info Chan, real name Mao Ito, is the journalist's daughter. She is 19 during the timeline of Yandere sim/when the game starts and Ayano starts actually killing her rivals, the first one being Osana.
Also Info Chan is older than Ayano but because info grew up alone yes she acts like older than her age (like me in a way) but she can be immature at times for example when angry she never learned to deal with it
Info Chan, as in the game, helps Ayano defeat her rivals, except here she's a bit more implicated, growing more βhumaneβ with every rival defeated. It sounds sadistic, but it's actually just time passing, it has nothing to do with how many rivals Ayano has killed. Also, she helps her with every rival, not only Osana.
When Ayano actually kills Osana, Info acts all chill, βyou go girl slay pop off queenβ but she's actually terrified. *Detail for the visual novel: the moment Info Chan hangs up on Ayano because idk the day ended, we get a close up shot of Infochan with that over exaggerated anime look with a wobbly smile, wide eyes and βsadβ eyebrows and she mutters βwhat have I gotten myself intoβ¦β
Anyways, her original plan was because her father abandoned her at 10 years old out of his obsession with Ryoba, she decided to help Ayano out of spite for her father, like saying βhaha, fuck you dad! Remember that woman you hated and obsessed over? I'M HELPING HER DAUGHTER!β haβ¦ daddy issues.
What Info Chan does in her free time is strictly confidential, but because we are going to get a couple of shots of her in her free time, here it is; she often times plays video games, from World Of Warcraft to The Sims 3 (because she thinks it's better than TS4), Stardew Valley, Among Us, and those old games like Wizard101 idk what genre they are tho. She also scrolls through forums, trashing on people with problems in their oh so simple code (simple for her at least, I barely know how to print in python3), she'll check whatever torrent site she uses, and she'll just play on her β¨REDβ¨ 3DS with stickers from every single fandom she's in, which is a lot. She reads manga, accompanied by her monitorsβ lights, also having a bunch of figurines, even those like sexualized ones and the bunny suit ones and swimsuit idk I'll make a room design one day not rn. Oh and let's not forget she listens to Nightcore like it's her lifeline.
When she's not a shut in, she slips into disguise which is probably just a face mask, probably pants instead of the normal uniform skirt, a black hoodie so you can't see her hair that well (she'll also have it tied which knowing how short it is doesn't make that much of a difference. She also has wigs, a scarf, shades and once disguised herself as Midori for shits and giggles. For some reason she wears that uniform skirt even if she doesn't go to classes. When Ayano confronts her about, eh simply replies with βI do it for the aesthetic~β or something a long the lines of that. (Ps: I'll figure out how to phrase it, but the main point is she's doing it for no reason but to βpoke funβ at how she's here even if she's not a student, or maybe just to laugh at how she's not a student here but stays here even more than the regular students)
Oh and she's lesbian because Ayano x Info-Chan frfr. Anyways, because like they're kinda nuts it's obviously not that good of a relationship, but who cares? It's doomed yuri frfr.
Bonus details:
Her dad, The Journalist, is actually American and her mom (we don't know where she is) is Japanese, so I guess Info would be Japanese-American??? The thing is if you search japanese american it shows βjapanese person living in Americaβ.
She has farsighted vision or whatever the minus visions are.
Endings:
The Good Ending // In the end, when Info Chan asks the MC (aka Ayano) out, if you click the option to accept, then uhm you'll accept and not go to jail idrk
The Bad Ending // If you click the option to decline, which will probably be βlash out at Info Chan for causing Taro to leave the schoolβ even if it was Ayano who did all of the killing, then Info will go like βim sorryβ¦ I really wanted us to be friends, I really didβ¦β and basically she hands her to the police, having all the evidence she needed. The reason she actually filmed the evidence was because βjust in case she betrays meβ, which here you go.
The Neutral Ending // If you choose to fall for another character, then Info Chan will congratulate us on our relationship, and we'll get a cutscene where Info puts her phone down, sighs, and scrolls through forums, before the camera focusing on a photo for Ayano stuck to her polaroid wall thing.
To even get to the Info Chan endings, Ayano will first of all call Taro to the Sakura tree and confess. If Ayano has killed more than 5 rivals, then Taro will reject her (because Info can't keep her mouth shut and has obviously started rumours about Ayano). If Ayano has eliminated all rivals in non-lethal methods, Taro will accept and happy ending ig. If Ayano is rejected, the next morning, she gets a text from Info Chan to meet up at a location I currently haven't decided. When Ayano gets there, Info Chan confesses, and we get the choices. For the βother loverβ ending, the Taro cutscene doesn't even happen because we don't like Taro anymore (sorry).
There might not even be the last ending until the main storyline is finished cause that's not necessary, but it'll be eventually in it.
Does anyone yawn like... Constantly?? I'm constantly yawning even if I sleep well and sometimes I have to breathe in deeply or sigh to actually feel that click you need to feel when breathing (well it's not a click but it's like a signal when you just know you've breathed enough)
And I feel like my ribs are heavy against my lungsπ
Honestly in the part where they said Mabel was foaming at the mouth and her pulse was high I thought she was gonna have a seizure or smth; though I liked where she fainted, I'll probably draw both later(β β§β β½β β¦β )
And btw it's not that I want her harmed I'm just a real sucker for angst><^^
