When working with used books, one often encounters inscriptions left by previous owners. Most of the time it’s an owner’s name and address, a to/from message, notes, or childish scribbles. But some cases are much more… interesting. This is one such writing, which I have copied in a standard font as the handwriting us rather difficult to read. (If the pages look odd, it is because I had to photograph each page separately to get a clear image and merged them back together for this post.) I’m still not sure how to react.
Warning: does contain a couple of swear words, for anyone who may find that offensive. I have no intention of offending anyone, just sharing an experience from work.
P.S. Please don’t write in books, though! Unless you are the author, it decreases the value and can make them harder to sell.
