Thirteen Rising Book Review

I had high expectations for the last installment of the Zodiac series, Thirteen Rising, by @rominagarber. They were all met. Thirteen Rising started as the biggest emotional roller coaster I have ever experienced. You will switch sides on what characters you like so many times, that you can’t and won’t stop reading. The brand new epilogue was amazing and a perfect wrap up. This is one of those series that you don’t want to end, but you know it has to, and you’re okay with that because Romina Garber gave the ending of a lifetime.

My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She’s Sorry Book Review

I found that, overall, MGAMTTYSS by Kendrik Backman was nostalgic. The novel showed that family was very important, but a child’s imagination was the most important thing on earth. The book revolves around story telling and the love between a grandmother and a granddaughter. With many twists and turns you will never be bored. I did have trouble getting attached to the book at first, but when I finished it, I was completely satisfied. You will want to be more like each of the characters the more you read. This novel is not only funny, but it will make you feel like you’re wrapped in fluffy blanket the entire time. I highly recommend.

I just bought the Thirteen Rising paperback with the brand new epilogue by @rominagarber, but while I was waiting I read My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She’s Sorry by Fredrick Backman, and I’m not finished yet! So I’ll have to hold off on the probably perfect finale of the Zodiac Series because I just can’t give up on Backman’s characters! Stay tuned for my review of MGAMTTYSS!!

Wanderlost by Jen Malone Book Review

Wanderlost was a very refreshing read. The whole time I was thinking #relatable. The book was extremely funny and well, relatable. The story follows a seventeen year old girl, Aubree, from Ohio and her path to independence and confidence. The story was dramatic and emotional, yet simple and calming. The author I believe, has put a lot of herself into the book, and it really shows. Overall, I was extremely satisfied by the last page of Wanderlost by Jen Malone.

While I wait for the paperback of Thirteen Rising to come out, I’ll be reading Wanderlost by Jen Malone! I saw this in Barnes and Noble and fell in love with the summary! Can’t wait to see if it meets my expectations!

Black Moon Status Update

Okay, I just finished Black Moon by @rominagarber and let me tell you, it has been an emotional roller coaster just like Wandering Star. I cannot wait until the paperback version of Thirteen Rising comes out with the epilogue!! I haven’t read Thirteen Rising yet and I’m almost jumping up and down with impatience. I highly recommend the series it was a really emotional and fun read!

Inktober 2017 Day 7: Shy Seventh we have Rho, Hysan, and the rest of the Guardians from the Zodiac series by @rominagarber. This scene is from Zodiac, where Rho is sworn in as the Holy Mother. Sorry I fell behind in posting! I had a mini apartment emergency. I’ll do proper scans of all the drawings once the month is done. More YA heroes and heroines to come!
