Happy Pride Month Reading! ❤️💛🧡💚💙💜
I’m not super into romance and never have been, which can make finding books that fit my tastes hard since romance is pretty ubiquitous. Anyway, here are some books I’ve found that have either no romance or very very minor elements. Most of these are on the side of “no romance whatsoever.”
I’m also linking to some resources for aromantic SFF books below the cut, since I think aromantic narratives and characters need a central role in any discussion about romance and fiction.
Disclaimer: this post is not casting shade on the romance genre or those who read it. Romance and romantic elements are perfectly fine, they’re just not to everyone’s taste and I’m simply providing some suggestions for those who want narratives without it.
Links to Goodreads are below the cut.

drink your coffee. read your books. it's chaos out there.
One of the worst feelings has to be when you finish an amazing book and have no one to talk to about it
Alright, we’re into two classes that have updated, waiting for the other two which I assume will happen in a few hours so I’m heading to bed.
Need to see these due dates for things cause I naively thought since the first class had everything due Sunday that it made sense most would follow suit and that is not the case (chemistry due on Friday’s) and then last years’ biology syllabus appears to say Wednesday’s for discussions and “end of week” for everything else— does that mean Sunday? Friday?
I just need to figure out what I need to plan for around work so I can have the most needed days off every week to finish up/study/submit everything on time. I’m thinking I’m just going to have to schedule everything a day ahead so I don’t have to worry.
Morgan we salute you
book dedications are so tender here is this piece of art i made for an audience of thousands. but really every word is for you
howdy friends and lovers, who wants to trade:
-your email for my ebook -my paperback for your review
hello! I would love to help if you’re still looking for that. 🖤
If I finish my book, I have to wait at a minimum of 4 weeks for the electronic version because I have no idea when my already several week hold on the physical copy will come through. I sort of didn’t think they’d all be holed up, the book is several years old and a fourth of the quadrilogy. And I’d buy it but I’m still figuring out gas for the next 9 days.
If I start another book, which I’m not even gonna be able to focus on because of aforementioned Book, then I’m still delaying the inevitable until next paycheck. :( being an adult was supposed to be fun and I can’t even spend $15 on a book I NEED. Sigh.
I only have, like, a hundred pages left. And I’m like IN it.
