The Schemers Table: tightly paced, impeccably scripted 70's era heist/espionage thriller based on a John Le Carre novel.
The Seekers Table: Pride & Prejudice & Zombies if it was a road movie.
The Soldiers Table: Robin Hood: Men in Tights set in a soulsborn universe.
God damn what a map! This really is a city designed to spend 1/3 of a campaign in! Look at all of those points of interest!
For comparison, here's how many labeled POIs were on the city maps for Tal'Dorei, all by the same artist Andy Law:
Emon: 14
Westruun: 14
Whitestone: 12
Stilben: 10
Syngorn: 8 ...
Dol-Makjar: 65!!
Critical Role via Twitter: āTHE MOST EMPLOYED TABLE š š² Our Schemers have day jobs in Dol-Makjar to keep up with! Take a moment with Taliesin Jaffe, Luis Carazo, Liam O'Brien, Marisha Ray, and Game Master Brennan Lee Mulligan as they talk through their extra-sneaky Campaign 4 characters' 9 to 5s before #CriticalRole Campaign 4 returns NEXT THURSDAY on 4/30!ā
Wet cat cinnamon roll and his emotional support mask š
"Are Luis and Marisha under the table?" "Yes, they're talking down there."
it's really funny that azune is both the most intense of the schemers and the youngest by a Ways (depending on how you count bolaire).
because it means that schemer dialogue is sometimes like azune going "I am your sword i would kill for you please let me kill for you" and everyone else going buddy you gotta go to bed
Still thinking about Azune giving Enfasen that whole speech about hating Thjazi Fang and being loyal only to the Revolutionary Guard/Arcane Marshals and whoever commands them, which now is you, sir š«”; and then 3 hours later as mere sidebar to the eveningās intrigue & adventure, saying to Hal, āBy the way, do you want me to fuck up that guy for you, the one who hurt your friend? Iāll fuck him up for you. I donāt care that heās my colleague; but speak thy will and I shall see it done.ā And Halās like, āPlease donāt.ā and Azuneās like, āOkay. š„ŗš”ļøš”ļøš«”ā
Thjazi left Hal 2 swords, actually. One of them is finely honed, powerful in deception, magical in ways we donāt yet fully understand, and utterly reliable, and the other is the Liarās Blade.

Had to screenshot all of the absolutely gorgeous official art done for the Seekers Tale Gate recap.
Reasons I still have Twitter.
I can still hear the falconās cry, can you?
"What would your campaign 1 character think of your campaign 4 characters?"
Question asked in today's eccc that I really loved, so I felt like I had to share the answers:
Grog: "That's one big kitty!"
Keyleth: "Those are two big titties!"
Allura: "Oh, gods, no, not him."
Vex: "Could I offer you a job?"
Vax: "Yes, please."
Scanlan: "Sure, I'd hit it."
Pike: "Everlight, please help this woman."
Percy: "Let's put that in a box and throw it into the sea."
Yes, Julien is an asshole. He's naturally suave and charismatic. But he's also a giant loser who goes to a biergarten and asks for red wines by their fancy ass names, locks himself in his room with a bottle to sob because that's the only time he feels safe enough to let his emotional guard down, tells strangers that he's traveling under the Authority of Revenge with no underlying sarcasm whatsoever, puts notches into his belt every time a member of his traveling companion's family dies even when he's not the one who did the job, and chucks the live snake who just saved his life like 30 feet across a room without a second thought. Also he's missing a tooth. It's inside of his sword
Took on a challenge of drawing all of them and finally completed it! Love them a lot even if Iām very behind on watching the episodes
My take on the absolute chaos that was the bridge fight of episode 14 š¤£šš„ It's more vibes than 100% accuracy, please don't judge too hard šš But I hope you can enjoy it nonetheless š
