Nothing like a little spice to start your year...
Let's just talk about this masterpiece ✨
I know it's not fall anymore but...
It's that time of the year 🍂
It's that time of the year 🍂
Can time just pause in this moment. That would be lovely.
Who else needs a break from school?
This one 🖤
The problem with One Last Stop is...
too many Cishet™ Straight™ people are reading and giving their precious Opinions™ on a book that is written by the queer people, for the queer people, on the queer people.
Like, this is phrased perfectly.
Alina and Nikolai redraw :))
This is so cute 💓
Hey mortals!
Hey mortals! What’s an unpopular witchy read with plenty of representation? 🏳️🌈 The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is insanely good! Not only does the book make sure to bring all elements from the show but it’s a perfect read while watching the show AND it’s a perfect fit for #magicforeveryone🏳️🌈 🌈 Most of the characters are LGBTQIA+ and it explores so many wonderful topics such as self exploration & self love. 🏳️🌈 Although it’s a perfect series in on itself, it also has witchy elements. In fact, the entire series is about Sabrina & other characters (much better version than “teenage witch”) exploring their witchy world. 🌈 So if you do decide on trying out the series/show, make sure to follow this guide so you understand (make sure to watch first): Watch part 1 ~ Then Read book 1 Watch part 2 ~ Read book 2 Watch part 3 ~ Read book 3 . . . https://www.instagram.com/p/CTTLHGdpB_j/?utm_medium=tumblr
Oh, hello humans!
I'm just here, procrastinating on sleeping (didn't know one could do that but here I am defying odds)
Thoughts that keep me from sleeping:
WHEN WILL SHADOW AND BONE 2 COME OUT.
WHEN WILL SHADOW AND BONE 2 COME OUT.
WHEN WILL SHADOW AND BONE 2 COME OUT.
I WANT JESPER AND NIKOLAI IN AN EPISODE TOGETHER.
QOTD - What is your favorite book trope? The book starts off with the introduction of our main character, Evie, a Jamaican High School senior. After the recent divorce of her parents, she has altogether stopped believing in love. One day she bumps into a lady at a little library and leaves with a book called "Instructions For Dancing". And ever since that encounter she's been having visions of how couples' relationships will begin and end whenever they kiss. She tells her friend Martin who suggests that she go to the address for the book she received the other day. The place turns out to be La Brea dance studio and she finds herself taking classes there. And that's how she meets X. X is an 18-year-old 'hipster hot" guitarist and singer who believes that saying yes will give him a full experience of life. Soon they become close and Evie starts to question herself. Is love really worth the risk? Or is it just another way to get your heart broken? "Happiness is tricky. Sometimes you have to fight for it. Sometimes, though - the best times - it sneaks up behind you, wraps an arm around your waist, and pulls you close." Evie was sarcastic, funny, and very dramatic. As our main character, I found her relatable in some instances and her character was pretty interesting overall. She wasn't as annoying as most main characters so that was good. X was an open, funny, and charming love interest. If I counted how many times the main character mentioned his hotness, I'd be going crazy. Frankly, I don't know how she ever doubted that she liked him. Fifi should really be the main character here. Everything about her is perfect and I totally want her as my dance teacher 🖤 her passion for dancing makes me wanna try it out (let's not go that far) and everything she says could be a quote. Like: "YOU ALWAYS HAVE trouble telling left foot from the right foot?" "You are leading her, not kidnapping her!" "Unless toes are broken, keep dancing." "Get closer! Is his breath still stinky?" "Sexy is small word. Why so difficult for you to understand?" "No, no. Now you look like a giant flightless bird. Elbows down!" "Loose arms!" "No rocking side to side! You not teapot."
