Hannah is grappling with the guilt of having left Ben 10 years ago with their parents. Ben is also angry at their sister for leaving and not telling them about getting married. Ben finds themself trying to keep a low profile for the rest of the school year but is interrupted when Nathan Allan enters their life. Nathan is a fun, humorous and charismatic student who takes Ben under his wing. Soon they become close friends and Ben finds themself starting to catch feelings for him. While Ben tries to deal with the panic attacks and anxiety, they find themselves leaning more towards their therapist and Mariam, their only non-binary friend whom they speak to via Skype. Ben tries to reconcile their feeling toward Hannah and deal with panic attacks and anxiety. They are also starting to fear how much Nathan is starting to mean to them. Can Ben tell Nathan the truth about them? Would Nathan push them away? Ben struggles to deal with the fear of being rejected again, as he starts to confront his feelings about Hannah.

Update about Gideon The Ninth:

I'm loving it so, so much even though I can't really pinpoint why. I like Gideon a lot, I'm fascinated by Harrow although we don't really see her that much in the first part of the book. I love the dark atmosphere and the descriptions of people and places.

Se bisogna scegliere un libro per l'autunno, come va di moda nei social, il mio è sicuramente #cambiarelacquaaifiori di #valerieperrin ed edito da @edizioni_eo. Premetto che non lo avrei mai letto se non me lo avesse prestato il fidanzato (lui che se non è saggistica e se non ci sono crimini&misfatti non legge), ma è stata una bellissima scoperta: divertente, commovente e incredibilmente vero, è la storia di Violet Trenet, della sua vita, del suo abisso e della sua riscoperta...come guardiana di un grazioso cimitero in un paesino francese. Vera e propria saga di una vita, è stato in parte un romanzo di formazione su come si può sempre ripartire e che cercarsi e trovarsi non è egoismo, è amore per sé stessi che si può poi riversare sugli altri. Chicca finale è la lettera che chiude il libro scritta dagli editori. In poche parole, è una confessione d'amore per i libri e una condanna per chi pensa che non valga la pena comprare i libri o prenderli in biblioteca. Ma certo, piratiamoli su internet, che idea geniale! Il prezzo di copertina paga tutte le persone che a quel libro hanno lavorato giorno e notte, ore e ore su pagine word e su colonne di InDesign, su ciano e rulli compressori. Leggerlo arricchirà non tanto il portafoglio di qualcuno che dovrebbe andare a lavorare (perché pare che l'editoria non sia un lavoro vero e che si guadagnino i milioni), ma arricchirà soprattutto voi che leggete e che ne diffondete il verbo.
