It is time to go back, my dudes.

Sometimes I feel like people underestimate how smart I’m in because I’m not in STEM. It’s not that I wasn’t smart enough to be in STEM, it’s that it doesn’t interest me in the way humaninities do. When I had to take Chem as a gen ed I got over 100 on the final and I have like a 3.87ish gpa. People a lot of times act like I don’t deserve it because I’m an English major and not in engineering. Sure, numbers don’t really define my worth, but I know my shit. Just because I chose a major that I found interesting over one that’ll make me lots money doesn’t mean I’m not smart, or not as smart as an engineer. Being constantly underestimated and undervalued is exhausting

#my friend said he has to study more for his exams because they require critical thinking #because apparently i dont need that for the three essay exams i have this week?#like theyre different things #stop acting like youre better than me because you do math and i have to write a thing that connects 1700 years’ worth of english literature #sorry for ranting this just seems to keep coming up and it bothers the fuck outta me
