035. Like some children, the little polar bear is afraid of the dark. He does not want to go out with his daddy to watch the moon. I find it lovely when an illustrator uses minimal colors as possible but drawings came out very pretty. Fact: I envy those who can draw! 034. One of the first books I bought for Ditri. He loves this book so much, we must have read this for about a hundred times already. 😂 I like how it is written, relatively an “easy” read because of the rhyming words. 033. I bought this book mainly because of the color scheme and the pretty illustrations. The story is good but I suggest, reading it with older children, because there are confusing facts stated, like how the protagonist encountered a penguin at the North Pole (when in reality, penguins are in the South Pole 🤓). I enjoyed the book, but I’m not sure if I’m going to introduce it to Ditri now.

032. Didn't really expect the twist at the end of this book! But, I must say it's beautifully written. I also find it engaging, as the poem describes the midnight tiger but, I think this is meant for older children. The illustrations are wonderful too. Because he grew up with a dog, he adapted the sheepdog's habits too which sometimes made life difficult for the farmer. 026. Thoughts while reading this: If we people, are like Amos on how we treat animals, the world would be such an amazing place. I'm not surprised this book was a Caldecott winner. 023. A lovely poem dedicated to a child from a mother, comparing the child to various works of art. This boardbook features some famous painting from Vincent Van Gogh, Albrecht Dürer and Leonardo da Vinci. We've been reading this book every bedtime for the past three days now, so it's definitely a hit for Ditri!
