Oh my! Why did no one tell me how good this fricking book was! The whole ending I loved all of it. The twists and the turns I was gasping out loud. I loved how the plot was summarised and how all of the characters seemed to develop together.
I now have to read the next set. Which ones am I supposed to read next?
So I may be reading Percy Jackson and the whole series basically for the first time. I sat down to read part of The Battle of The Labyrinth and then accidentally finished it one go 😂 I loved it but enjoyed the third one slightly more and I’m excited for the last one. What order am I supposed to read them in?
🌼Am I proud of my self? Yes. Should I be? Probably not. 😂
i’m sure i’m not the only one who gets brutally honest with myself and find the need to pour out all my raw feelings onto paper past midnight?🌙✨i remember writing this entry at 3am in the morning while me and my sister skyped. she was blasting the song ‘memories’ from the cats musical and i was feeling all sorts of emotions, so i decided to write📝✨ journaling always feels so intimate to me, especially when it isn’t planned out🧡 . how do you guys feel journaling? is it something you do spontaneously or is it more of a habit for you?✨ (at Perth, Western Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CB3P-u2Hvs5/?igshid=cwo1669hv276
Hi, guys! Lala here. We all know the importance of having a morning and night routine, but I haven’t seen a lot of people talking about having a study routine. So I wanted to share mine with you and hopefully you guys can get some value out of it.
Do you have a study routine too or want to share some tips? Share them with me!

thursday, may 14 2020;
i have managed to apply to three different remote internships (wish me luck!), and the fact that it snowed the other day in the month of MAY is CRAZY - climate change deniers… y’all still breathing?
hello everyone :) i’m feeling a little overwhelmed tonight and drawing my anxieties away, but i just wanted to say thank you so much for the amazing support on my shop, my account, my blog, everything🧡 it’s been so surreal to see people sharing my work and genuinely liking what i do. it also feels incredible to know that people are proud of what i’ve become and telling me how amazing it is to see me grow. it truly means the world to me🥺 so again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being so kind and encouraging to me🧡🧡 . on that note, i hope you all have/had an amazing day! sending every one of you all the love✨🥰 (at Perth, Western Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_h53GEHsts/?igshid=kgb4nc7musdq

So i am home, which means you are going to see this desk from now on! I hope it doesn’t scare some of you away! The same content just a bit different.
I am going to move out this weekend from my dorm. Going back, and packing my stuff without actually finishing the uni year is going to feel strange. Heck it feels strange now.

last week was definitely rough, to say the least. I’m grateful for letting myself ride out the emotions and after an exhausting night, I actually felt pretty refreshed this morning.
I’m trying to indulge in the little things I do have control over right now- how I like my coffee/tea in the mornings, how often I talk to my mom on the phone, how good I feel after eating foods that make me feel nourished, whether or not it’s a nice enough day to study outside for an hour or too. it all helps.
if quarantine has taught me anything, it’s how strong and brave I can be when faced with uncontrollable circumstances.

journaling : get heavy thoughts out of your head. slowly learn to formulate what inhabits your mind. relax.
yoga : slowly learning to move your body with control. breathing. stretching. while you’re at it, meditate too.
propagating plants : I’m not a very good plant-mother, so doing something as easy as propagating cuttings in water is so satisfying and calming. put water in a glass container, and watch that beauty grow.
experimenting in the kitchen : find taste with the basics I have.
language-learning habit : whatever happens I can always get back to my simple practices that feel familiar (this applies to anything you like to learn, and can act as a distraction).
walks : if you’re allowed to, get your brain some air and your body some movement. observe how the place you live in evolves/changes.
breathe : deeply. I promise it helps.
gratitude flows : whenever you can, stop for a moment, and start enumerating things you are grateful for. it fills me up with positivity.
lets remember all the information y’all

As most people are working and studying from home right now, I wanted to share some concrete, implementable ways you can help yourself feel better. Though I believe productivity and quantity of work done (or lack thereof) doesn’t/shouldn’t translate into your self-worth and how you view yourself, when you get work done, you actually do feel better in your own body.
By the way, it’s the first time I’m formatting a tips/guide post like this, so I apologize that I couldn’t be more concise.
I’ve spoken to a licensed professional counsellor as well as to some professionals who have been working from home for a long time, and some of the advice above is from them. I’m also sharing from my own experience as someone who used to be very productive and an (ex-)overachiever, and still attach a lot of my self-worth to grades and other tangible accomplishments. I hope these slides can help you. In case it’s hard to read, I’ve included it (reworded) in text form if you’d like to read more.
