Progressive rock/metal, and as with a lot of David’s work (his own solo material and his band ‘Destiny Potato’) it’s incredibly complex and creative while maintaining a very accessible overall feel. His BILO EP series is a little more out there and weird but I think anyone who enjoys modern rock music and wants something incredibly rich and organic sounding will absolutely be able to find something they enjoy here.

The stand-out tracks for me

Track 3: 500 Seconds Before Sunset, an absolutely gorgeous track that feels like it was written as a chilled out dance music track but played in an ambient rock sort of style with some slight eastern folk elements in the second half which he somehow blends seamlessly with the song.

Track 4: The Flock

I still haven’t even emotionally processed The Flock

This just came out in the past few hours and it’s not even sunk in yet, this is UNREAL. There was an EP earlier this summer called “Ego” which is slightly weirder and more metal based but as with a lot of David’s stuff, there are melodies that get brought back from that release in this one and you get that amazing “I RECOGNIZE THAT KEYBOARD MELODY” moment.

I dunno man, David Micic is an absolute prodigy
