One of the things I love most about this panel isn't just the obvious joy and relief on Dante's face after realizing that the person who almost killed Vergil was actually a part of Vergil himself (To Dante, anything involving Vergil is deeply personal. Whether it's saving him, stopping him, forgiving him, or killing him, he feels that responsibility belongs to him. It's never just another mission).
It's Nero's expression.
It's honestly hilarious. He has absolutely no clue what the hell is going on with Dante. He's just standing there, staring at him in complete confusion, probably because it's the first time he's ever seen Dante drop his usual mask. Up until then, Dante always hides his real emotions behind jokes, sarcasm, and that reckless, carefree attitude.
So this moment is just so funny to me. Dante is practically overflowing with happiness, while Nero is just watching the whole scene like, "What the hell is wrong with this guy?" completely unable to understand what's happening.
