Oneshots
I write both character x reader and character x character oneshots. I will write almost any agere prompt, with the exception of nursing and padding (nothing against these agere practices, I just don't feel comfortable writing them). Hope it goes without saying but I also will not write kink, ddlg, or any other nsfw prompt.
Moodboards
I will do moodboards for whole fandoms, aesthetics, places, time periods, fictional ships, fictional characters, etc. I can even do moodboards of certain headcanons. If you have a request that isn't listed, just message me, I'll probably do it so long as it is sfw.
Headcanons
If you request a moodboard, you can ask for a set of headcanons as well! I will only ever post SFW headcanons on this blog, if you ask for NSFW you will be ignored and blocked.
Remember that headcanons are subjective and you may not agree with my interpretation of a character. That's valid but don't come for me- it's the risk you run when requesting headcanons.
DNI Banners
Unlike fic and moodboard requests, I'll do a DNI banner for any character in any fandom, even if it is not listed above. I'll even make one for groups of people. I'll even do one for an object if you want. The default for my banners is "__ Protects this Blog / NSFW DNI" If you would like it to say something else please let me know in your ask. Don't feel bad if your request (for any of the above categories) is very specific! I love specific requests, they actually make my life so much easier, so don't be shy to specify exactly what you want.

Sometimes she does that thing where she lets someone feed her something solely so when their fingers are close she chomps xD

šHow Stratt handles a tantrum
Stratt doesnāt usually let it get to that point if sheās around, sheās scarily good at identifying when heās at his limit and either removing the stressor or moving him away from the stressor.
But if he does end up having a tantrum, she stays remarkably calm. She doesnāt yell but she doesnāt use a baby voice either, instead sheāll wait out the tantrum making sure he stays hydrated and safe.
After he calms down, sheāll talk him through it and usually he ends up going for a much needed nap.
š«How Rocky/Adrian handles a tantrum
Eridians are very instinct driven, when Grace begins melting down Rocky prioritizes physical comfort first. (Holding him, swaddling him, rumbling/purring) with LOTS of reassurance.
Adrian usually resorts to negotiations with Grace, starting with talking Grace through his emotions. Theyāll offer Grace small choices to help him regain his control. They are in general very nurturing towards Grace.
I just got to the part in the book where Stratt slaps Grace while heās in emotional distress. I canāt not view him at least a bit through the regressor lens so this scene hurt so much. omg!
How would baby Grace have reacted to this???
The scene cuts off right after the slap, but, oh my goodness, poor guy.
Oh my goodness I forgot Stratt straight up slaps Grace in the book! In her defense, she just lost her scientist and back up scientist (and 14 other people) in seconds so she's definitely not thinking clearly but stillšš
In the regressor light waaaa Grace is already distraught with the reality that Dubois and Shaperio are dead, of course he's gonna cry!! In the heat of the moment, Stratt probably doesn't even fully realize she's slapped him, she just needed him grounded and the quickest way to do that is well...to do *that*
It's not until on the transport to the main meeting location on the base does Stratt really realize because well....Grace is seated as far away from her as physically possible and refusing to look at her as he's hugging his arms around himself tightly. Trying very very hard to be a big boy because that's what is needed right now annnnd because he's scared Mama is gonna hit him again (tiny him not understanding the nuances of it and just taking as point blank: I started crying and she slapped me, I'm scared of her now) š
(Stratt probably doesn't have time to properly apologize to Grace because the next few days are a whirlwind. Maybe she ensures all of Grace's most favourite tiny items are packed as her way of saying "I'm sorry")
Grace waking up for the first time on the Hail Mary in his smallest headspace, calling out for Mama and wondering why she isn't coming to get him...
Armando having to help calm him down whilst Mary plays recordings Stratt made last minute to attempt to soothe him if he ever regresses on the mission.
Grace wondering why he can hear his Mamas lullabies but cannot see her..

I read your pinned post and am aware that live action shows have less of a chance of being drawn but I figured Iād give it a shot, of course feel absolutely free to decline!! honestly even if I fully banned live action stuff Iād still draw grace because that movie is so so good... I also love how every age regressor immediately clocked grace. they sent a baby to space.
thank you for adding the bit about burnout! It can be easy to lose yourself when youāre making work for other people, so Iāve been trying to be conscious of when I need to take a break from asks and draw for myself :) I really appreciate you caring!
I've been thinking a lot about Grace on the Hail Mary. New to regression, having to learn to navigate what all of this means and does to him with Rocky there to help him as best he can. They quickly figure out that things like stress and lack of sleep are prime triggers.
His tells are getting mouthier with Rocky, losing his patience at little things, and physically showing displeasure i.e. stomping his foot at something (or at himself) in helpless frustration, wringing his hands a lot, biting at or nibbling on the tip of this thumb to soothe himself. (And when the stress is too much, he'll suck his thumb.) Things like that. Don't even get me started on how difficult it becomes to hold his big emotions.
One thing they find that always always always soothes Grace and allows him to drop when he's teetering on the edge of regression is draping his lucky symbols quilt over him. The combination of sentimental value and weight make him feel comfortable and safe.
Another thing I think about a lot is Rocky giving Grace time-outs when he's teetering. Not as punishment or correction, but to create a safe space with as little distractions around as possible. Grace fusses at this every time, no matter if he's big or little. It's proven effective to calm him down enough to then go either way. He drops more often than not and quietly starts to ask for Rocky, pulling his blanket tightly around himself.
He needs a lot of verbal and physical reassurance after time-out, and wants to be as close to Rocky as is physically possible. He's a clingy kid the majority of the time anyway, but also has his moments of "I'm a big kid! I can do this by myself!"
Rocky can easily keep an eye on him no matter where Grace goes, so he's given the space to be a big kid when that mood strikes. Mary's also been roped in to help Rocky supervise and keep some appliances as well as areas locked down for safety, since the tunnels and the ball can't reach every spot in the ship.
In my headcanon, I usually put Grace between 6 and 10. Younger if stress has been high for too long.
classification au caregiver eva stratt who keeps her own instincts in check by managing the project. she has an entire fund set aside for keeping all of her staff happyāclothing, better food for the cafeteria, and nice sheets that make the cramped living quarters feel a little more comfortable. tax payer dollars go to not only the production of 2 million kg of astrophage, but the people behind it as well.
she goes all in for the littles on her science team. stratt hears and knows everything on the vatāshe knows what kind of pens to order and everyone's exact favorite brand of juice. giving back calms the part of eva's mind that reminds her that most of these people may die.
no one questions who funds the off-base trip to the local science museum. the fact the entire building is rented out for the day screams eva's doing. there's never a formal thank you, but several kiddos hand her cards made of crayon, glitter glue, and stickers. and carl sends her plenty of videos of grace playing at the water simulation table. eva keeps them in a folder and rewatches them when she needs to take a breather.
Cg Stratt&Little Graceš«Iām an absolute sucker for Littles who are taller than their cg, Grace feels absolutely perfect for it. Carl for sure gives Stratt a hand when carrying Grace around the vat, such a clever boy but he is a little no matter what.
Grace is in a constant state of clinging, stage 5 clinger forever. Luckily Stratt doesnāt mind, her little boy can hold onto her for however long he likes.
a couple birthdays ago one of my best friends got a mock "lab safety for babies" picture book where there are terrible and flagrant violations of lab safety in every picture (and ostensibly child-friendly depictions of The Bad Things That Happen When You Violate The Rules)
anyway, grace would have a copy for funsies. probably a relic from teaching middle school. even when hes little it makes him giggle bc of course licking the sample slides is bad for you!!!
however. when rocky wants to entertain the baby and finds this book, gives it a blast with the crystal gun... he is not in on the joke.
ALARM. ALARM. ALARM. "HUMAN SCIENTISTS TEACH GRACE BAD HABITS, STATEMENT!!! BABY GRACE DON'T POUR ACID INTO REGULAR SINK!!!"
gang, do we think rocky is fundamentally capable of understanding a game of peekaboo? his perception is so fundamentally different from humans. does he Get It when grace throws a blanket over his ball and then giggles through pretending not to know where he is? do we think rocky has an ALARM ALARM ALARM moment where he's like "GRACE OK, QUESTION? ROCKY HERE. ROCKY HERE" bc what if his pebble thinks hes gone???
i feel like rocky can throw a fierce tantrum when hes pebbleish. incredibly dramatic flopping around, flailing his legs, stomping against the xenonite tunnels in a rhythm that would be incredibly annoying for other eridians, flinging out the most dramatic of declarations that Rocky Not Doing Anything Anymore. World Is Unfair. Grace Mean Mean Mean. Grace Not Rocky's Best Friend. the sort of stuff children say doing their best to hurt someone else's feelings and... not really succeeding
grace taught middle school, which about covers the age range where a kid might still throw a tantrum but also has the necessary experience to insult someone in a way that actually hurts, so rocky's absolute grumpiest is not that impactful. he just waits it out until rocky exhausts himself (which doesn't take that long, relatively ā humans are endurance hunters, after all). and then,
"all done, buddy?"
[defeated whistle/sigh]
"it was frustrating when our math didn't agree, huh."
"... grace think rocky stupid."
"aw, rock, no," grace scoots close to rocky's ball ā he's sitting on the floor so they're about eye level ā and gently taps out their code word for everything's ok. "rocky is very smart. and very good at math. but we're working together, which means we help each other when we make mistakes, right?"
rocky is currently all splooted out, but tilts towards grace.
"it was tough being so mad. and your body did what it needed to do to get that all out. no hard feelings, ok?"
rocky get many many ask for sleep watch, statement!!!! rocky watch all human pebbles sleep who want!! happy happy happy to keep squishy leaky pebbles safe!!
