Elwood: A movie?
Ezekiel: I like movies. They look so good now!
"Alright. I thought you would say that I look chubby." Pagey chuckled before getting into the car. "And before you say anything I look like this because I have always been like this." The wendigo started to drive right away. "I think it is better to show you. It won't make sense just by telling you."
"You are not chubby." Or maybe he was. To Ezekiel Pagey looked like a football player that was huge and thick. However, Pagey seemed to insist that he was chubby. "Were you born with the curse?" He asked him.
Elwood: Yeah if not it wouldn't exist.
Ezekiel: True. What else would you like to do?
"Huh? What does someone who cooks look like?" He asked him because to him that sounded ridiculous in more ways than one. "Oh there is an easy fix to that, but that's better to show at home."
"I don't know." Ezekiel felt lost in his own argument. What was he trying to prove anyway? He wasn't sure even as he got inside of the car. "Can you tell me now before I get disgusted?"
Elwood: No, but it is not that different from other sports.
Ezekiel: It is different enough.
"Why is that?" He chuckled as opened the door of the backseat for him and so he could put his bags. "Yes, but to my cabin, not the one I work in. We are not allowed to live at our workplace." Not for the lack of trying.
"Because...you don't look like you cook?" But it shouldn't be surprising because of who he was and his diet...which made him realized. "Ah...I see. What about your special diet?" Ezekiel asked him.
"Is that so surprising?" He asked as he took all of his bags so they could go out. "Someone cooking for us would be preferable, but I can take you back to my place and we can cook something." Pagey suggested.
"A little bit." Ezekiel said as stole two bags from his so he could help; pretend to help at least. "Back to the cabin?" He questioned. He didn't remember kitchen being there.
Elwood: We can do that.
Ezekiel: You played?
"I am." Pagey said and started to speak with the cashier so he could pay. When he was done he glared at Ezekiel. "We would have to go at the same place we did last time or I would have to cook for us." He told him.
"You know how to cook?" Somehow that surprised him and impressed him. "I would prefer that if it is something that you want and it would make it easier for you."
Elwood: Anything. Do you play sports?
Ezekiel: I used to play soccer.
"And you won't stop learning." Pagey said with a smile. "No matter how old you are, there is always something. "He wondered if there was or will be there someone who will learn everything. "Are you hungry?" He asked him.
"Are you learning?" Zeke asked as he moved along the line with him. "I could eat yeah, but only if you are going to eat this time. It is weird eating by myself." Zeke said.
Elwood: I would like to yes.
Ezekiel: What would you like to do?
Pagey did not take this seriously until he turned and looked at Ezekiel. OH he really meant it...he was even flustering. That was not just adorable. It was..."No problem. I have no regrets." He said and patted his shoulder. "I'm glad you feel that way."
"Yeah." He said lowly. "I hope that you continue helping me. There is still so much that I don't know." Ezekiel told him. "There is so much to learn."
Pagey just laughed as he started to walk towards the cashier. He did not miss that smirk. In fact, it made him happy that they could be shit to each other. "I didn't like those people. Anybody else would have done he same thing."
"I doubt that. I doubt that now." Ezekiel said with confidence. He then bit his lip and scratched his cheek. He felt heat, not the natural heat. A different kind as a growing knot twisted in him. He didn't remember when this started, but it was becoming harder to ignore. "Thank you."
Elwood: True. Would you like to hang out?
Ezekiel: You want to?
Elwood: I do. Do you?
Ezekiel: I do yes, but it is not the same from learnning directly.
