Need a great big tough knight that can witness my anger (hurt) and not feel threatened by it.

A knight that will see my jaw clench and my shoulders tense with the effort to hold it back (to stiffen against an inner storm). A knight who can watch the blood spill between my lips from biting my tongue (from this anguish, can you not see me bleed?), and not see it as the smoking fire of dragons. A knight that assures me with a slight smile, "Go on, Princess. Try me," that they cannot be hurt by me, that my knight is impervious to mere words, to these small hands.

But... I don't want to hurt my knight anyway (not really, not when I already have a chasm torn inside me) so I won't, I can't, and when the dam breaks and the tears come instead, my knight has proven they are strong enough to weather the storm, and my knight is not angry or frightened or hurt by my hurt. And I'm finally... safe, without the anger.

Maybe eventually, my body no longer reflexively channels pain into anger to keep me safe. Maybe eventually I just am, with my knight at my side.

Alright guys, we are ready to rehome this knight we rescued.

This fellow may seem broody at first, but that's only because they're a bit shy. Give them some time and you'll see they can be very social and affectionate. They get along great with other knights. We haven't had the opportunity to test how well they do with jesters, wizards and advisors, but we think they'd do fine with the right introductions. Their favorite activities are jousts and harp-playing. We are sending him home with their favorite horse and pole axe as endowments.

We are looking for responsible lieges with spacious, safe castles, so if you fit the bill, leave us a message. As per our standards, they've already been fully vaccinated and dewormed.
