Een ruïne van het modernisme in de jungle van Brazilië. Het nooit afgebouwde toeristenhotel Gávea Tourist Hotel nabij Rio de Janeiro. In 1953 begon Décio da Silva Pacheco met ontwerpen en in 1972(!!!) werd de bouw stil gelegd door de ontwikkelaar. 10 jaar terug werd nog een poging gedaan om het af te bouwen, met de komst van de WK voetbal, maar ook toen lukte het niet om deze flat af te bouwen.

standing 10 metres high, it was constructed on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie I in 1955
