Eden Knight was a trans girl who escaped the clutches of her toxic, transphobic, ultra-conservative family. This did not last long unfortunately, since her family used their connections and resources to hire private investigators and other goons to find her whereabouts, kidnap her, and traffic her back to Saudi Arabia. She was forced to detransition throughout the entire experience, and this costed her her life. All she wanted to do was live her life as a woman, and yet no matter how much distance she crossed for that, they still hunted her down and dragged her into a dark and horrible place where she would never be able to escape. Nobody should have to go through what Eden was forced to go through. It makes me worried about myself too as a trans woman of color who also comes from a family of transphobic hyper-religious wackjobs. I want her name to be remembered for all eternity and may she find peace wherever she is now. Her name was and always will be Eden Knight

I still can’t believe people started campaign 2 before campaign 1…like the joy you feel when Pumat Sol is reading Tary’s book, the lighbulb that goes off in your head when Matt mentions the lack of floating cities in Exandria or the Ravenite refugees in Xhorhas or when Matt casually mentions the fall of Draconia, the dread you feel when you see the guns in Hupperdook, the grief when the Raven Queen is mentioned, the literal jolt that went through my body when I realized Yasha the Barbarian is a follower of Kord when Grog the Barbarian had been looking for Kord literally 2 decades ago.

You just see these tiny ripples of Vox Machina bleed into this world 20 years later and just….like I feel like it’s memories of a past life or lives that I witnessed. I can’t even imagine how the players feel when they hear these little things.

Genuinely, I just cannot comprehend anyone saying that Laerryn vs Essek in a duel would be an even fight.

Laerryn is a con wizard with the Tough feat, mechanically, just to START. She will kill a sitting politician at a moment's notice without worry. She's maybe the most overfunded wizard in history. Essek is a dex wizard who almost got taken out by a pair of magic sleep handcuffs. He defaults to utility caster. And, while both of them will become unhinged if the person they love is threatened in anyway, Laerryn will straight up take down the world in the process and Essek is just as likely to physically drag Caleb out of the fight instead of retaliating.

I'm sorry, but there is literally no contest here. Essek would be a very pretty stain on the ground in seconds. God forbid women do anything.

I do want to add that I truly believe that Laerryn could EASILY take any single other wizard who has appeared on screen, because Laerryn wasn't built to compete against other wizards. She wasn't even built to survive the Calamity.

She was built solely to have a fighting chance against the Senior Sightwarden of the Eyes of Avalir.

Why Ethari Is So Devastatingly Tragic

I'm not beating around the bush, Ethari was did so dirty in season four. Think about it, he's been told that his two best friends betrayed their people after he raised their daughter for years, he thinks the love of his life is dead, his surrogate daughter was branded a traitor, and he probably still has to make all the village's weapons. After all of this, he broke the rules and decided to see Rayla again, didn't mind that she brought a human(his enemy) home, gave Rayla his moon opal necklace(the equivalence of his wedding ring, one of the last things he has left of Runaan), and stays in his village to keep making weapons and trinkets because he most likely knew he was needed.

Ethari, an elf that was only in one episode, has been shown to be the most understanding, kind, loving, and persistent person in The Dragon Prince, Ethari did all this just for him to not even be mentioned in the fourth season. Think about it, Callum is a high mage, he could at least ask the foster father of the girl he loves if he's okay. He knows what happened to Ethari. On top of that, even after the war, Ethari has no idea where Rayla is. Ethari is one of the most tragic people in The Dragon Prince because he is completely and entirely alone. Ethari has been that way for the past two years. This is why Ethari is one of my favorite characters. This is also why I have begun to stop caring as much for the other characters, Ethari never stopped living.

When life threw a curveball at Ethari, he kept moving. This elf put one foot in front of the other when he was royally screwed over. This elf deserves his own arc in season five, because God knows he's earned it.
