Hiiiiiiya it’s me again.

I was thinking— and I honestly forgot if I asked this question before, I don’t think I did, but where exactly/when exactly did the headcanon that Nina was a scene queen get popular?

I love it ofc but I also just think it’s funny because pre-incident Nina literally just looked like a normal /kinda preppy girl lol. iirc, I don’t think she had the pink dyed into her hair until AFTER the incident too.

New stuff is coming tomorrow, but I wanted to give a little treat first! So here are a couple headcanons for my rewrite of Nina Hopkins! AKA The OG copycat killer. May be another revised lore instead of pure headcanons again, though.

!!This is MY personal interpretation of Nina Hopkins! Please respect that!!

Warnings for issues with mental illness and bodily harm.

💝Nina is fifteen, not eleven 

💝Claudia and her friends are two years older than her

💝She had some previous run-ins with them before, but it escalated when she entered tenth grade

💝She’s always had a fascination with death, as her father was a mortician

💝He used to let her come to work with him before the divorce happened, and he vanished from their lives 

💝Nina was very young when this happened and has a hard time remembering her father’s face 

💝She’s half Latino (fathers side), half European (mothers side), and speaks fluently in Spanish and French 

💝She is NOT in love with Jeff, just admires and is obsessed with him

💝Think of it more like she wants to be like him / BE him 

💝Nina views him more as a mentor/older brother figure

💝She is a Scorpio, she was born on October 31st 

💝Nina developed psychosis around the time she turned fifteen, which would later develop into schizophrenia 

💝To this day, she’s unsure if Jeff was there to help her burn herself or if he was just another one of her hallucinations 

💝She instantly developed a hatred/rivalry with Jane during her first encounter with her when she was seventeen 

💝They’ve hated each other ever since 

💝Nina also has a rivalry with Clockwork, but they act more as frenemies than anything else 

💝She tired to sew her eyelids open, it didn’t work

💝She now has small x like scars at the ends of them, and they can be very sensitive 

💝She has multiple back up ribbons 

💝She sounds a lot like Baby Firefly from House Of 1000 Corpses

Guys my writing fic motivation is wacky as hell, but should I do a Nina x reader oneshot but it’s pure OG Nina Hopkins? All the x reader fanfics I’ve seen with Nina just usually go the fangirl/in love with Jeff route.

But also what if I did the reverse, what if THE READER is the Jeff fan and Nina’s just like “nah, babe, I’m better!” Need Nina bullying Jeff lol she shit talks him outta love that’s her big bro trust

Hello sorry for this blog not being very active at the moment, end of term has been busy, but I come back JUST to say—

I find it very ironic and silly that Ale HAD TO ACTIVELY remake Nina into Jane to finally get it into people’s minds that she was NEVER in love with Jeff in any shape or form. Because apparently they weren’t allowed to just be friends, because the fandom was shipping them… and proceeding to hate Nina for a ship that purely came from the fandom.

Guys I love you but you make me TIRED lmao.
