Boxer and Cream has been remade!

Hi! Howdy! It’s been awhile since I posted here, huh?

To make a long story really short, I’m still massively invested in these ocs and the story I had planned out for them, but I wanted to start from a clean slate for these guys.

To do this, I made a new blog for Boxer and Buttercream! Yes, her name was slightly changed because just ‘Cream’ felt weird.

The new blog is over at @boxer-and-buttercream, and the askbox is open for interactions! However, it’s worth noting that for the beginning of the blog, there will not be any story progression of any kind! I need to figure some stuff out before we can start the story proper! However, you are free to interact with any of the four original cast in the mean time!

With that, this blog officially dead! Hope to see you guys over on the new blog!

(( And we’re back Online!

(( - You might’ve noticed I changed a few things around, like the header + icon art as well as updating the about page, and It’s ‘cause I’m gearing up to resume the blog finally!

(( - Things will pick up right where they left off with the new designs, and for the time being we’re just gonna pretend they’ve always looked like this. I’m hoping to slowly update the old art with their current designs, but we’ll see!

(( - The blog might still be slow for a bit, but I’m going to try my best to keep things consistently rolling for at least a little while. Hopefully, I won’t go on another big hiatus like that unannounced!

(( Guess what’s happening, lads? ))

(( I’m not sure when exactly I’ll be coming back, but whenever I do, things will pick up exactly here they left off. The only thing that’ll change is their designs, but the story and what-not haven’t changed much. It’s more changed for later down the line, but that doesn’t really effect the now. ))

* Cream probably has a map that Whistle made of it, but it’s basically a big ol’ hub of activity on this side of the continent! It was hit pretty hard from the corruption incident, but recovered pretty well all things considered!

- It’s more of a ‘I recognize them enough to pick them from a police lineup’ kinda deal. I can pick their face from a crowd, but I don’t know them, ya’know? Really just Minty, Cole, and Boxer.

+ You… Mean… The corruption?

+ I’m surprised you poor shapes made it this far without knowing about corruption.

+ To simplify, the corruption, or ‘pink’ I guess, is my emotions.

+ Once a shape has been corrupted, they never fully recover. They are still, always, corrupted, they just might not be stuck in that corrupted state permanently.

+ However, in these cases, if one such corrupted shape gets too far away from the Treeangle, or their emotions start to become too strong and uncontrollable, that corruption begins to rear it’s ugly ass head.

+ So, to summarize, no, the corruption does not directly affect my emotions. It is, however, a herald to one’s emotional state, and can act as a bit of an amplifier at the worst of times.
