Ok so a month ago there was this Fitness competition show called "Physical asia " which i dang loved with mass diverse contestants from 8 Asian countries (but also 🇹🇷🇦🇺) and this Mongolian judoka instantly reminded me of Clarita! She was the strongest female contestant who hold 135kg stone pillars back-to-back for the longest with Team Mongolia setting a record of over 41 minutes, showcasing immense static strength

Could you give us some character drawing tips you use when drawing?
When I draw for fun, I just wing it. But when I'm drawing a character for a polished illustration, I always start by establishing the background (unless they're floating in the void). The background has vanishing points that will write the camera view for you and affect the pose. And even if they're actually floating in the void, these two voids aren't the same. You can't escape perspective.
And once there's that, I gather all the references I need for the anatomical details I struggle with. Sure, resources like Magic Poser Web are quite incredible, but the human body will always have subtleties that a basic 3d model won't be able to replicate. Folds, funky arm shapes, scrunched up faces, etc. I always tell people and I will die on this hill: draw from life, draw the people you know, carry around a sketchbook.
You know why's that also useful? Because the more you draw real life people, the more characteristics you'll have in your inner visual library, and your characters will be more unique. Some details that you might've not seen in those blank-faced astetik models pinterest feed all of you damn kids with!
I'm half joking, but I'd recommend avoiding pinterest pictures unless they're candid like this.
