heroicshadowchxrmer:
“You’re right. ..So what then?”
"I don't know;; perhaps we should just keep an eye on it until someone else comes.."
eomeer:
His slight wariness of the mare does not go unnoticed for he has seen much of the same among the youngsters of many riders.
“ Worry not, she will not harm you. ”
The dwarf lets out a shaky breath, his eyes roaming between the mare and the man. And yet, he proceeds to just shake his head at the reassurance.
" Your mare's spirits do not worry me, kind sir. ----And yet I would find it preferable if we were to leave this place soon enough, if that is no trouble"
Merry men come in all sizes…
heroicshadowchxrmer:
”No. I usually just do something and hope for the best.”
"I would go that path, too, but this doesn't seem like it could be just messed with recklessly."
fiestymudblood:
❝Erm, you don’t need to call me that. My name’s Hermione. —— Sorry, I just needed some fresh air right now. Plus, I’m practising for the dark arts exam.❞
"Fíli, son of Dís, am I. -----Dark arts, you say? Forgive me, Her--mione, but truthfully you do not seem like a servant of the dark forces."
eomeer:
A gentle hand coaxes her muzzle from intruding further than the dwarf may allow.
“ She must have scented the remnants of a possible treat. ”
Fíli watches the mare from his distance, in suspicion only these big animals had always brought upon him. What a wonder, he was never overfond of ponies, either.
" Not by me, kind sir, perhaps by some of my companions but I carry none of which could satisfy a horse of her sort. "

"M'lady, not to be nosy but is there any particular reason for you to be wandering around here so late and all by yourself? ---- You do not seem very much like a dwarf to me."
heroicshadowchxrmer:
"Yes, but what should we do?”
" Dunno, I-- don't you have any idea how to handle this sorta things? "
eomeer:
“ She is merely requesting food. ——Do you have something in your pockets? ”
" Oh, I---- " It is but a second for the young prince to realise his mistake and duck his hands in to his pockets as asked to.
" I do apologize but there is none of which I could serve. "
heroicshadowchxrmer:
"Probably not."
"Shouldn't we then do something about it?"
[ -- Like for a starter, no? -- ]
"Is it supposed to make that sound?"
I wish we could transplant some of your common sense to your brother.

dulinhel:
Dulinhel nodded, leading him up the stairs to the entrance hall of Rivendell. She looked down on the dwarf and smiled. “I will, though he might be busy. Only I doubt that he will be too busy to welcome someone to his house, especially one of your kind.” She said before leading him to the room Elrond was staying in. She nodded at Lindir, and spoke in her own tongue as she explained why she was here with Fien. He knocked on the door, and Dulinhel turned to Fien. “Would you like me to take my leave?”
Fíli followed her through the place, trying not to look around too much, nor draw too much attention to himself which was nothing like an easy task, considering his kin. He was glad he didn't have to do much talking as Dúlinhel took care of most of it; thus it seemed rather rude to send her away. On the other hand, he wouldn't want her to know he lied to her. That was even worse, lying. He cleared his throat bowing briefly with a mild smile.
"I would prefer for you not to be bothered by me any longer; still, I believe I will find you later for a proper thank you if Mahal stands by me and your lord Elrond allows me to stay here for a while. It was a pleasure meeting you, lady Dúlinhel."
He gave her one last time before making his way through the door, having them closed behind him as Elrond nodded to Lindir to leave them alone.
