“The Holy Spirit is not an entertainer. He does not exist to put on a show. His aim is not to elevate men and women. He wants to point you to the person of Christ—not signs and wonders which pale in the light of His glory. He wants you to seek the Giver, not the gifts.”
— Defining Deception by Costi Hinn and Anthony Wood
“I think one of the biggest mistakes Christians make while reading the Bible is forgetting that none of the characters, except Jesus, knew how things were going to end. So we read about Noah and immediately picture the rainbow. We focus on the fact that Jonah got puked out of the whale while forgetting that he didn’t know what was coming. We think of the disciples and the miracles they saw, like the feeding of thousands of people with just a little bread and fish, and forget they didn’t know that story would turn out awesome. It did though, didn’t it?”

“When we meet someone and fall in love, we have a sense that the whole universe is on our side. And yet if something goes wrong, there is nothing left! How is it possible for the beauty that was there only minutes before to vanish so quickly? Life moves very fast. It rushes from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds.”
— Paulo Coelho, Eleven Minutes
“Please do yourself a favour. Don’t lower your standards to fit in. Don’t shrink who you are to make others feel comfortable. Do find and surround yourself with people who like you just the way you are and who encourage you to keep growing.”
— Kristen Butler
“The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I wanted to die.”
— Juliette Lewis
Things to Stop Tolerating
1. Toxic relationships and environments.
2. Rudeness and a lack of basic courtesy.
3. A disregard of healthy and appropriate boundaries.
4. Being constantly used and disrespected by others.
5. Hiding your true self, or your personality.
6. Feeling bored and empty, or feeling life lacks meaning.
7. The pressure to “just settle”- and give up on your dreams.
I do not have to be perfect to be successful. I do not have to be perfect to be successful. I do not have to be perfect to be successful. I do not have to be perfect to be successful. I do not have to be perfect to be successful.
This. So much this.
