Sherlock AU -- Sherlock must solve the real Final Problem -- “Stayin’ Alive” -- and answer Moriarty’s riddle: how did he survive?
SHERLOCK - "A Study in Pink" air date: July 25th, 2010 @giftober 2023 ★ day 11: pink
INTERVIEWER: Martin Freeman has said that when Sherlock and Moriarty are together, his job as an actor is to get out of the way. So how does Moriarty actually regard John Watson?
ANDREW SCOTT: Oh, he’s absolutely on his radar.
Moriarty has an obsession with Sherlock, but that means the detective’s best friend is always going to cause some sort of stirring of strong emotions.
There’s a scene in the final episode where I wanted to be able to show that in a small way, what Moriarty’s attitude to John is.
I think it’s one of restrained respect, but also one of envy.
Because Moriarty is a sociopath, I think there is something he doesn’t fully understand about friendship. He doesn’t have any friends himself, and that’s what separates him from Sherlock.

Just learned about the existence of this poem written by Vincent Starrett in 1942. I'm always so happy when I can learn more about the Sherlockian fandom and discover more of Sherlockiana.
I love newspapers … fairytales.

*systematically blocks every single "Moriarty the Patriot" post because uh that is not Andrew Scott*
Don't mind me, just incredibly sad that Tumblr has become a mess of imagines and sh!tposting instead of the golden days where you could find an active blog simply dedicated to making edits for a series you both loved. A blog that actually stayed on topic and wasn't a total nightmare to navigate.
Slow down there, chum.

jim: you think i’m pretentious?!
seb: you’d eat a WORM if i gave it a french name!
Jim: Seb, what’s in your hand?
Seb: a biscuit?
Jim: …other hand.
Seb: a Desert Eagle 50 AE?
Silly mormor comic
jim: has anyone told you that you’re doing an amazing job today?
sebastian: …no?
jim: think about that.
Everyone could see John Watson's deep pain and sorrow at the death of Sherlock Holmes;
But no one could see the other version of the story...
