naturally, tali expected that answer. the urge to argue hit her every time anyone spoke out against her motives, so honestly she couldn’t remember why she ever bothered to ask. she’d heard it through at every occurrence, no matter the person; you’re too trusting, there’s too much risk, it’s too dangerous.
❝ mm. yeah. ❞ and who’s to say she hadn’t been hurt in some ways? tali was a hopeful; from what she believed, the fact that she was still able to be her own free spirit was enough proof that however she’d hurt or however she’d been hurt couldn’t changed her outlook, yet at least.
❝ – if i didn’t do it, i never would’ve met you, though, and you’re one of the better things that’s happened to me. ❞ the ever familiar silence returns. ❝ one day, i’ll stop. if anything ever happens, ❞ she stops to thickly swallow, ❝ then i’ll stop and never do it again. i just always worried – wondered what you thought.
❝ ...Your right. Yet I still worry, ya
know? I sometimes worry if one
day I call you, and you don't answer.
That one day I'll turn on my t.v.
and see you on the news.I care
about you T, I don't wanna see
you hurt. ❞
A short barrage of coughs erupted
from his throat, then clearing it. She
was one of the few people he cared
for. Silence was his reply, yet it was
not uninvited. He was comfortable
with silence. Even though he wasn't
alone inside his own mind. He broke
the silence with another cough. Must
have caught something..
❝ Neitherless, I'll still support you. I
can't stop you even if I wanted too.
So... just stay safe, alright? ❞
