Y'all, July cannot come soon enough. I love character driven story telling and @saraflannerymurphy writes these characters so well I almost broke my kindle about 2/3 of the way through because I wanted to slap *someone*. (Though, if I almost break my kindle or throw the physical book I knoooooow it's gonna be a good book.) Add to that a setting that seems haunting and familiar and otherworldly, Wonder State is going to be one of the best books releasing this year. Side note, this book has given me one of my all time new favorite quotes and I am tattoo levels of obsessed with it. The Six Deaths if the Saint is hands down the best story in this collection of short stories. Alix E. Harrow is such a masterful storyteller that I couldn't believe this was only a 30 page story.
