2018 Review

10-1-18 It's a new month and a new quarter. I've got my fresh Full Focus Planner ready, and more importantly I've got my heart ready to make this quarter the best of 2018. What are you going to do with these next 3 months?

It’s been a long time since I posted anything here. Sorry about that for anybody who reads. I’ve been writing, about 65-75% of the time I get my 500+ words in each day, but that’s either been in unpublished and private journals (I don’t want this blog to always be my journal; that’s not really interesting for anyone else) or on a fiction project which I’ve started and am pulling myself along in.

Reset and Restart

I published a little over 1000 words on July 29; I’ve written about 800 words since then, not counting this morning.

In that time, I’ve listened to a ton of podcasts and read 7 books. But I haven’t written.

I’ve wanted to write. I’ve thought about it and planned for it, but I didn’t do it.

Nap time thoughts

I didn’t over plan, so I didn’t get overwhelmed. And, because I don’t feel good. I decided to take care of myself instead of just trying to take care of everything by myself. These are big deals for me.

Bible

I finished the Bible today. I started it January 1 and finished today. I’ve either read or listened to the entire thing, some books multiple times.

I love to read the Bible. I’ve been reading it pretty much every day for 10 years or so. There are times when I’ve gotten away from it, but then weeks when I read 20 chapters every day.

Anxiety

Anxiety I've let worry consume me and get me off course for the last week or so. Sometimes I mask it, sometimes I panic; or I run to something for escape, or I lash out and fight. But no more!

Planning

Planning I've let myself get overwhelmed with all I need to do for about a week. BUT, today I've got a plan and I'm making progress!
