So I’m super bummed that Dawngate is closing. I’m not a MOBA fan, but I realy tried to get into this game because the lore is soooo good. If you want that Firefly-esque feeling of “wow, this is awesome; we’ll never get any more of it” then I highly recommend the Dawngate Chronicles webcomic. The art is beautifully drawn and colored, plus the characters are so expressive and well done. Ironically, it makes their in-game counterparts seem 1-dimensional and lifeless by comparison. I hope one day these characters and this world get to see the light of day again, hopefully in a game more befitting of their richness and nuance.
