Instead of looking backwards or forwards, look into what you have now. It may not seem like a lot if you look with judgement. Try to look again, with the clear intention of seeing things for how they really are. Can you name someone you love? What made you laugh today? Is there an activity you enjoy that you should do more of? Are you grateful for someone's existence? Name a few simple things that make life seem more bearable at first, and soon you will see you have so much going on for you, right here, at the present.
