How did Michael become god? O:

IN THE BEGINNING Michael was essentially the heavy hand of the Law. He made sure everything stayed in its place and whatever direction Marie (at the time God) and Lucifer took it in he enforced it.

While he's an ambitious dickhead he's not all that creative, so he never actively planned against Marie outside of the regular Bad Thoughts. He jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of Lucifer's coup against her and turned that battle into an absolute nightmare for everyone.

In the end Michael was the one who fatally wounded Marie and banished Lucifer... and as such become the head honcho of Heaven which he has been reforming into a sort of militarian dictatorship since.

Lucky for him, winners get to write the history books so the prevalent notion is that Michael is a hero of Heaven and Marie is still God, albeit removed from the public eye. No one except for a select few archangels know who is actually calling the shots (Spoiler: it's Michael, he's playing the part of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches simultaneously while making it seem like there is still someone else behind the curtain).

Does he love the power? Absolutely. Does he love the day to day nonsense of running a kingdom? No, he's so over it.

This is Calio. He’s a bastard man who was your average pretty playboy until the day he passed out in a cave while traveling and woke up a year later in a grave on the opposite side of the continent looking half dead and having new necromantic powers. He doesn’t like the looking sickly part, but he *really* likes the power.

He’s since:

Made a deal to become Baba Yaga’s Black Rider when the previous Black Rider died in front of him.

Raised a troll and a dragon as his skeleton minions. Their names are Reggie and Leviathan.

Started worshipping the god of murder and secrets.

Discovered that during his lost time he was friends with some of the party’s worst enemies and probably held a position of power in the evil witch government.

Started dating a giant shapeshifting wolf (her name is Greta and she is wonderful)

How did Tristan and Waverly meet?

via @paperwick: WAH YES THANK YOU FOR ASKING. ♥♥♥ Tristan and Waverly met by chance; he originally invited her friend Archer to come train as a magician with him because he knew and trained Archer's grandfather, Jacob. Waverly and Harry tagged along because the three were at that time inseparable.

via @bravebirdart: It wasn't until a month or so in that Waves seeks him out for some one on one help and from there it's all downhill history!
