林義雄先生在30年前因為美麗島事件被捕入獄,被判以叛亂罪。
30 years ago during the unforgettable Formosa Incident, Lin Yi-Hsiung was imprisoned for an act of treason.
入獄期間, 家中卻發生一起慘無人道的血案。
During his imprisonment, an engrossing event occurred in his household.
林義雄高齡的老母及兩位雙胞胎女兒, 都被殺慘死，
長女身中六刀，經送醫急救，僥倖存活。這血案迄今尚未偵破。
Lin's mother and his two twin daughters were brutally targeted. The oldest daughter of Lin induced a traumatic stabbing of six times, but whom after series of medical attention, survived.
However, this case is still unsolved till this day.
在多年假釋出獄後,
林先生積極投入反核運動,創建基金會,
行遍全台,努力的推動核四公投法案形成和推廣,
但當今執政者完全不以理會。
During his parole, Lin began series of anti-nuke protests. However, his actions and hard work weren't able to convince any government officials until now.
2014年4月15日，林義雄宣布將以無限期禁食的方式，
呼籲馬政府應停建核四。
On April 15, 2014, Lin announced his famine protest against President Ma's Nuclear Plant plans in Taiwan.
當今政府依然我行我素, 執意不肯下修公投法、解決核電爭議，違憲濫用職權
我們為林義雄先生不惜犧牲自身生命,也要阻止核四帶來的危險與迫害,
保護台灣人民生存的家園,感到敬佩也沉痛!
Till this day, the government refuses to respond and continues to proceed with all plans, ignoring the people and their decisions. We, as the people, fear for Lin's health as he continues to protect this land that we live and love from danger and harm.
我們在心疼焦急的同時,也決定要政府抗爭到底!
In order to protect our land to the fullest, we are prepared for anything that will get the government to hear our voices.
4/26, 4/27, 我們將開始占領凱達格蘭大道,直到政府出面回應。
We, the people will occupy Ketagalan Boulevard and hope to persuade our government in the right direction on April 26th and April 27th.
為了不要讓林先生繼續絕食抗爭,為了不讓他犧牲自己,
我們將無限期占領, 直到政府願意出面回應訴求 :
1.停建核四
2.還權於民，下修公投法門檻。
In order to protect what Lin believes in and in order to protect him, we will fight along-side with him by protesting till the government responds with the following:
1. Putting an end to the construction of Nuclear Plants
2. Giving the people their rights to vote on this matter
