hey~ it’s probably not a surprise that i’ve been on a break on this blog. with everything going on in current life, i’m stressed as fuck. and it’s a normal feeling to have. 

i’m a retail worker at a grocery store, so that is not shutting down any time soon, as it is an essential. i’ve been working more because of it, and when i do have my days off, i am on my other rp blog. i’m willing to give it out, but it’s not really related to this fandom. i also have my discord as well.

i don’t know when i’ll be back, but i’ll try. please, stay safe and be kind to one another. we need it more than ever.

Lucas isn’t exactly busy either, having finished doodling in his notebook a good few minutes ago. Today’s been quite lonely. Quiet, even. Nothing interesting has been going on to the point where he’d even considered finding someone to fight. So to suddenly have Isabelle call out to him is certainly a pleasant surprise.

“Um- Hi-!” He kneels, settling down to be somewhere around her height. She places a flower crown on his head before he can speak. His smile becomes less unsure and more genuine at that very moment, the accessory reminding him of the time he’d once spent with Ness in the garden. A hand reaches up to gingerly stroke one of the petals. “This is really pretty. Thank y’!” One question lingers in his mind, however.

“…How did y’ even make these with paws?“ He could hardly make them with his hands, so the fact that she’d done so with her hand-like paws is somewhat of a shock.

It was almost strange how quiet it was around here. Maybe there were fights going on, or perhaps some fighters were away from the manor doing something else. Whatever it was, Isabelle was going to make those she did see happy. It was in her nature, after all. 

Isabelle carefully watched Lucas’s reactions. She didn’t know what he would had thought of her placing the flower crown upon his head. The last thing she wanted was to upset anyone by doing something she did. But those fears quickly melted away as the dog saw his genuine smile, watching as he started to stroke the flowers. “I’m glad you think so! I made sure to pick the best flowers...but there were a lot of good flowers, so it was hard to narrow it down! And you’re welcome!” Isabelle beamed after her little ramble. 

Though she paused listening to his question, a silly look appeared on her face. “You know...it wasn’t easy...the flowers kept falling out of my paws at times, so I had some help from the princesses, actually. It was a team effort!” She nodded eagerly. “I arranged everything, but they help put it together.”
