March Favorites 2016
Clearly I don’t do this regularly... but here we go! Here’s a bunch of stuff I’ve been loving during March
SKINCARE / BEAUTY Neutrogena clear face sunscreen Only recently did I start wearing sunscreen regularly. I always made the excuse that since my BB cream and concealer have some SPF in it, I don't necessarily need sunscreen. BUT things have changed. This is a really nice sunscreen that I use for my face before applying makeup or before going out for the day. It is light weight and does not have that funky sunscreen smell or that white cast that some sunscreens leave on your skin. My skin isn't too sensitive, but either way, this doesn't break me out. I've been using it everyday and will continue to do so.
Revlon lipstick (in the color Pink Cloud) When I first bought this lipstick and tried it on, I honestly was so disappointed. The color wasn't pigmented and it just left my lips with a weird sparkly color. So why did I add it to my favorites this month?! What I ended up doing was applying a darker pink/purple lipstick underneath (a color that is too dark for the springtime) and layered this pink lipstick on top and it created such a nice light pink color that I love! It's the perfect color for spring and summer.
L’Oreal Paris brow stylist definer (in the color Brunette) Brow pencils have become sooo important to me. My favorite eye brow pencil is one from EM cosmetics, BUT this one is just as amazing and more budget-friendly. What I love about it is that it is really thin so it's easier to fill in your brows and it'll look a lot more natural than a thick pencil. Also on the other end of the pencil is a spoolie brush which is great for combing your brows and also evening out the color once you've applied it. I will probably not be purchasing the one from EM again. I'm in love with this one.
ACCESSORIES Sunglasses For the longest time I've been looking for sunglasses like these. The colorful, reflective lens on these sunglasses is what I love the most about them. I've seen so many people wearing these type and I finally have some of my own. Living in SoCal, you kinda need sunglasses year round.
Baseball caps Baseball caps have definitely been trendy lately and I'm really happy about this for several reasons. First of all, everyone can wear them and everyone looks good in one (trust me). Also, if you're having a bad hair day, just throw on a baseball cap and problem solved (plus you'll look trendy)! I've also been wearing them often because it's starting to get sunny here since it's springtime. I'll definitely be wearing them through the summer as well. There's so many different kinds, I wanna buy more.
TV SHOWS Granfathered I have refrained from starting new TV shows because I already watch soooo many, but I couldn't help it anymore. I think I started like 3 new shows in March and this one was one of them. Grandfathered is one of those shows that you don't really have to pay attention to very much to understand the story line. It's also pretty funny and I like John Stamos and Josh Peck. I've definitely been loving it. I need new episodes!
MOVIES The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Okay don't laugh at me, but this movie was the best one I watched this month. One night, I was on Netflix looking for a good movie to watch and I came across this one. It has a really lame title and I had actually heard about this movie before. I noticed it had actresses like Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera (they're some of my fave actresses). I thought "What the hell! Let's give it a try!" I actually really enjoyed this movie. I don't normally watch these type of movies but it was nice and I'm glad I watched it. Probably won't be watching the sequel tho haha
MUSIC DEAN (130 mood: TRBL) I'm kinda in love with DEAN right now (and his music of course), soooo no surprise that I've been loving his album he released this month. It's really so great!
Jeff Bernat I was introduced to Jeff Bernat's music in late January and I love his songs! The 4 songs I've had on repeat this month are: This and That, If I Could, Queen, and Think of the Times.
Crush There's something about these R&B singers that have seriously caught my attention this month. I've been a fan of Crush for a while now, but I've been playing some of his songs on repeat this month. They are: Don't Forget (ft. Taeyeon), You and I, and Oasis (ft. Zico).
Eric Nam (Interview) Bae finally came back with another mini album and he didn't disappoint. I love Eric Nam's voice so much. Listening to this album is just great because his voice is so soothing. I really hope he has a showcase in LA soon or maybe he'll come back for KCON.
TECH Yelp app I try only downloading apps on my phone that I REALLY like or need. This month I decided to download the Yelp app. I've been enjoying this app because I get to check-in to places, write reviews, and post pictures of my experiences of different places I go to. I like trying new places and this Yelp definitely helps find some cool places.
RANDOM Pastels If you know me, then you know I've been obsessed with PASTELS. Pastel colors are everywhere and I LOVE IT! I've bought pastel markers, I paint my nails in differently pastel colors, I made pastel cupcakes for Easter, and yeah... you get it haha.
If you actually read this whole thing...WOW YOU’RE FREAKIN AWESOME! and I love you.
Everybody isn’t going to love you. Most people don’t even love themselves.

- Cardio: 1.5 miles (running, jogging, walking)
Notes:
Alright, I’m starting this up again because I haven’t been exercising at all and I’m so out of shape. Keeping it very simple until I gain more stamina and all that jazz. Running felt great but very tiring. Don’t know how often I’ll be able to fit in a workout so I’ll just put the date of when I do.

hearing the word ‘salty’ in it’s original context is so weird now bc someone could literally just say ‘these pringles are so salty’ and I’ll just be thinking damn who’ve those pringles been vagueing about now
Something awesome happened at last night’s show… During a cover of ‘Under Pressure’ by David Bowie and Queen, Disturbed’s David Draiman joined Breaking Benjamin on stage to duet the song, featuring Starset’s Ron DeChant on keyboards. A legendary tribute to two of rock’s best late stars!
