The best thing about not being in lockdown anymore is being able to go to cafes to study ☕️
the beginnings of my desk decor frenzy 🙈✨ made lots of little changes here and there, but i’ll always have a snack, a hot beverage, an opened journal/planner, and a feel good show onscreen 🤍 (at Perth, Western Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSwZhf9BD7n/?utm_medium=tumblr
2021 setup ✨
Study time!
I’ve got a week off from school and exams starting in three weeks time. Time to start revising and studying everything.
a good day consisted of books, coffee, and a stairwell full of plants.
14.05.2018 love this artsy environment
getting an early start with 2 straight hours of writing (exhausting!), a vegan croissant (delightful!) and some falling snow (distracting!)
it’s the fourteenth of october and i woke up to snow and sunlight
woke up early because of construction noises, so i dragged myself to campus and tried a new café while finishing up my reading for this afternoon’s seminar.
// Currently completing my final biology course and feeling nostalgic. I’m gonna miss the teacher and her weird assignments.
is anyone else getting absolutely no work done at all

i'm freaking out. the more i study neurology, the more i find myself actually interested in medicine. thing is, i was premed for a hot sec before i changed my mind in my sophomore year. i don't think i fully considered how much work it'd be, and finally confronting those challenges terrified me.
now, i've already graduated and have a job, with the goal of applying to phd programs next year. but... because i do medical research and work closely with patients, nurses, and doctors, i'm finding myself spending hours just reading about, say, vascular territories, and actually enjoying it. in a way i never did when i was premed. which freaks me out. medicine? i thought i already failed once.
i won't make any sweeping statements about my future, but i'm not as frightened of failure as i once was. i am reminding myself that it's okay to start over and change my mind. there is always time. i'm actually feeling excited for the future again. ♡

i’ve had a pretty productive week! today i had a socially distant study session with a friend via zoom and it was really nice. we studied for 45 minutes, then took a 15 minute break to chat, then studied again and so on. it worked surprisingly well for me and i got a lot of stuff done.
it’s harder to take good studyblr pictures when there’s so little sunlight… the second picture is from like 4pm yesterday when i went to the seaside. it was so windy and cold but also really beautiful!
06.11.20 / what a wild week. i’m not part of the spn fandom but when i saw the gifs of what happened, i felt my heart just constrict a bit. not to mention everything else going on in the world!!! my goodness. it’s rather hard to stay focused, don’t you think? how are you all holding up? remember to be kind to yourself. take care always ♡
