Right … so this is Casablanca, where they ran straight after Vienna - so presumably, Benji is using the passport Ethan put in his go bag (is that the bag Benji is carrying? Could be..:) - and the clothes Ethan bought for him.

Ethan bought him a suit. Benji never wore suits and yet Ethan bought him a suit. And look at the colours - Benji’s shirt is pink, a lighter shade of the plum Ethan is wearing (goddamn that shirt looks good on Ethan) and Benji’s suit is grey, a lighter shade of the blue Ethan is wearing. Ethan has taken all the darkness in his clothes and translated them into lightness for Benji…

(And needless to say - they fit Benji perfectly)

Look at the way they move here. Ethan impressed by Ilsa, Benji wary of Ilsa and yet they both sway in the same direction. They are together and their clothes show how they echo each other - Ethan is the dark side, Benji the light

And then there’s this

This is Benji’s style - the t shirt, the shirt over it. These are clothes Benji bought for the mission - clothes he bought specifically for this - for Ethan. Benji bought Ethan clothes in his style - but in Ethan’s colours. Dark grey as opposed to Benji’s light. Deep reds and creams as opposed to Benji’s riot of colour on his shirt.

Once again - the clothes show they are the same but one is darkness and one is light. And both see Ethan as darkness and Benji as light.

And both laid claim on each other by buying the other clothes in their own style - and they wore them in front of Ilsa each time..

They unconsciously made it clear they are two halves of the same using their clothes in front of Ilsa each time…

i know the scene with jared in the self-driving car is meant to be comedic, and it is absolutely hilarious. but. why do i tear up at his desperation. my brain just keeps thinking of how scared he is. i’m too obsessed with this boy.
