The best part about spring, in my eyes, is truly seeing all the "winter weight" that's been packed on in all of it's glory. No hiding behind thick coats or heavy jackets, the weight's now there, looking you in the face. Belly pinched at the waistline, sticking out further from beneath your t-shirts. Thighs thickened up and straining your seems. Face now just as round as the rest of you. Truly, its wonderful to finally admire alllll of those chilly indulgences in the warm sunlight.

The best part about summer is seeing all the failed attempts to work off that winter pudge, only resulting in an even bigger punch just in time to show off that lovely beach bod ;)

Messed up scones this morning and now I’m fantasizing about being a manipulative feeder baker and how easy it would for me to just keep "messing up" every single batch I pull out of the oven just so I have an excuse to watch you shovel the failures down your throat.

Like I love the idea of standing there and telling you it’s such a shame to let all that butter and sugar go to waste while I hand you a whole tray of warm heavy pastries that I purposely loaded with three times the calories you’d ever need. You wouldn't even care that the icing is dripping with way too much sugar or that the breading has its own BMI from how dense and rich it is, because you’re already too deep in that glazed-eyed stuffed high to do anything but swallow whatever I put in front of your face.

Just imagine sitting there getting softer and heavier by the hour while I "struggle" to get the recipe right knowing that every single throwaway is just another layer of padding for your growing gut and thighs. You’d be so distracted by the constant stream of treats and the sheer hedonism of it all that you wouldn’t even notice how much harder it’s getting to shift your weight or how the chair is starting to feel a little too tight around your doughy hips.

And by the time I finally manage to get a perfect batch you’ll already be five pounds heavier than when we started and so overstuffed and sluggish that you’ll just have to sit there and accept that I’ve turned you into a massive overfed mess of a taste testing blob.

Everyday would be a new “attempt” at a recipe just to I keep you in that loop forever, feeding you my mistakes until you're so bloated and thick that you’re hooked on the way I'm ruining your body one decadent bite at a time <3
