UUHHH A ROBLOX GAMES THAT HAS ELEMENTS OF NOSTALGIA (YES , I SAID IT), SCP-ESQUE/MILITARIZE CONTAINMENT OF ANOMALIES, AND SOCIAL COMMENTARY??!!! NO WAYY

So, I recently discovered this game called "A nostalgic hangout" and thought, "oh! Would this be liek that survival game with crazy knifes and enemies?"

Well...I was shot 57 times.

This went beyond my expectations. In my initial experience, there's not really much of a player interaction— rather, it's akin to seeing a story unfolds and actually pretty genius on the element of making the player seem like they a choice (if we judged by the Postman's dialog) when in actuality, we're also like an NPC. Programmed to follow, "destroyed "fixed" when bugged.

Now, unto dissecting some parts:

Is it just me or the R.I.S files is reallyyy like in the SCP format? DOn't get me wrongm, I REALLY LIKED IT!!! I scrumpt so hard in excitement.

Also the supposed "counter-cycle" I've been wondering if PM and PL really did drive off TOGETHER, could they've been the one to break the cycle??? Or really, we're deceived by false hopes like how SMILE's dreams was?

It's all really compelling.

While being able to stand on its own, have this self immersing world building, there parts of our reality (or Baseline EARTH IN scp terms hehe) that spills unto it.

It's amazing.

Let me tell you a story.

I am an archeologist. I specialize in a somewhat obscure but by no means boring or meaningless Neolithic culture in Germany.

It has a Wikipedia page. A well curated, surprisingly extensive Wiki page that encapsulates all the important information about the culture, including literature references for further research.

One day, we asked Chat GPT about this culture. W were curious which details it would get wrong.

ALL OF THEM, except for the fact that it's a culture in present day Germany.

It didn't even get the chronological time frame wrong and called it a celtic culture.

When we told it it's wrong, it came at us with made up literature sources. Literally made up. It took two well known German archeologist who weren't even active at the same time, added a year - both were already dead - and sold that as source.

And it LITERALLY would only have had to quote Wikipedia to get everything right.

THAT is how unbelievably shitty and wrong all those AIs are.

They are making shit up. They are not sourcing information, they're just slapping words together by their most like relative occurance.

Do not trust ChatGPT or any other so-called AI ever.

I absolutely love Lethal Company as a killing-time type of game, and just weird enough to be considered terrifying yet funny. I think it does well in the genre of scavenger game.

However, I think there should be a mode for nightmare. Like more graphic depictions of aggressive behavior from the monsters, especially from the company itself. I love LOVE how they show how the employees are treated like disposable tissues. I just wish there's more worldbuilding. Of course, this is no negative criticism for the creator since they had some uhhh issues. This just randomly popped in my head when the stupendium song played lollll
