Why does everyone think joeys dating all his friends? He can’t have female friends now?

joey has a severe girl allergy and everyone is very obsessed with him and who hes dating. it doesnt matter in the slightest, but theres something about joey that has people losing their minds when hes seen with a woman. usually shes married, directly related to him, or 40+, but everyone just goes crazy and i dont get it
