you know when you’re like drifting away from a franchise you love but you’ll never let it go because you still love it obviously but you’re just drifting away for a while to focus on other media you enjoy and trying to get into new things but you have a hard time getting into new things unless you’ve done like 100 backgrounds checks and made sure the new media will interest you enough or you just can’t find anything and everything looks boring

alright conspiracy theory time based on the rumours for the s10 opening emergency so potential spoilers:

If a Volcano Eruption is truly what’s happening then I believe 100% we are getting a tsunami parallel with Eddie/Theo. I think either lava (it would make for more of a spectacle) or the volcanic ash will act as the tsunami and at some point Eddie will lose Theo and remembering the tsunami, do everything he can to find his way back to him.

In the aftermath scenes or next ep. after it concludes Eddie and Buck will be sitting around talking:

“I just can’t believe I found him through all that ash and goopy lava.” Eddie says, tending to a wound on his arm. “I really thought..”

Buck moves closer to Eddie and puts his hand on his leg. “You saved him.”

Eddie turns his head to meet Buck’s gaze and sighs with a small laugh. “I guess it’s like returning the favour, huh? Balancing the scales of Buck and Eddie.” He smiles softly, thinking back to Buck and Chris in the tsunami, then returns to his wounds.

Buck looks awkwardly down and scratches his head, “It’s uh- funny, you should say that.” Eddie is immediately alert and stops what he’s doing completely to side-eye Buck.

“What’d you do, Buck.”

“You may.. now be in my will. For if anything ever happens to Theo.” Buck explains. Eddie isn’t sure what to say at all. “I know you’d do anything to keep him safe, Eddie. Consider this my contribution to furthering the balancing of the Buck and Eddie scales.”

“‘Furthering the balancing’?” Buck and Eddie look shocked as they see Hen, Chim and Ravi staring down at them. “Eddie you put Buck in your will!?” Hen exclaims.

Buck and Eddie begin to messily explain the situation, while Hen smirks and takes out a small tin from her pocket and starts asking Chim and Ravi to pay-up.
